"So what stopped you from waking me up this morning?"

It was now late at night and both Luke and Hunter had left. When I was walking Hunter downstairs, Luke was on his way out the door. He said to tell Mikey that he'd call him later and quickly shut the door behind him.

Hunter promised to call me when he arrived to his destination, which he wouldn't tell me where it was located, and gave me a playful kiss on the cheek before leaving.

He had me flustered to the point of wanting to keep myself distracted. I caught up on homework assignments and made flash cards for an upcoming test. So I did something I hadn't done in a while, I cooked dinner.

The smell of sauce, garlic bread and cheese filled the air as I took the lasagna out of the oven. I was no chef but I made a killer lasagna.

I looked over at my brother who was sitting at the dinner table not doing the only chore I asked him to. He stared down at his phone and typed like it would be his last time texting.

I whipped a dish rag at him and it covered his face, blocking his view. I held back a laugh and cut the garlic bread.

"The hell was that for?" He asked with attitude. He whipped it back at me and it landed on the lasagna. I quickly took it off so the food wouldn't taste like the rag.

I turned to look at him and sent a glare in his direction, "Mom will be home any minute and all I asked was that you set the table. Now stop texting your hoes and set the damn table."

So I was still mad that he didn't wake me up for school because he was busy with some girl that I didn't even know of. Not that long ago he came into my room saying he was looking for the right one and then the next minute he has someone in his bed at the ass crack of dawn? Not on my watch.

His chair scraped against the tiles on the kitchen floor and the plates clinked against the table, "My hoes- you mean the hoes that don't exist because I myself am not a hoe?" He asked with confusion etched on his face. I rolled my eyes at his acting.

"Then who was that in your room this morning, couldn't of been a ghost." I snickered as his face paled. He was caught, there was no lying now.

"You heard us this morning?" He looked terrified at the thought of me hearing him. Luckily for him I didn't, because if I did I would of called our mom and forced her to come home and help me move out.

I placed the garlic bread on a plate and set it in the center of our rectangular table. "No I didn't, but Hunter did. He stopped me from barging in on you guys which I'm thankful for." He let out a breath of relief and finished setting the table. He then brought over the lasagna and set it in the middle next to the bread.

"So who is she anyways" I said rather rudely. I was disappointed in him for doing such a sinful thing when he basically said he wouldn't. Why can't guys just keep it in their pants?

"That my little sister is none of your damn business." He took a slice of lasagna and put it on our moms plate before serving me next.

I scoffed at his statement, does he not know who I am? "As your little sister you are supposed to set a good example for me so I don't follow in your footsteps. What happened to 'looking for the right one'" I said quoting his words from the day he came into my room.

He rolled his eyes and leaned back in his chair with his arms crossed over his chest, "and what about you miss 'I'm gonna stay outside in the freezing cold and wait for a boy who was arrested for someone's death.'"

I snapped my eyes up to him and looked at him in shock. Had I pushed his buttons too much? He immediately looked sorry and went to rest his hand on my shoulder. I moved back so he couldn't reach me and turned my body away from him.
