A/N: So I don't think this very angsty but if you've read my Kaider Parenting book that I just updated, you might know that I wrote that late at night. I also write this at like 2:00 in the morning and my brain wasn't working great so this is what happened! It's not my best work but it's something before I finish my newest one! Enjoy as best as you can. Don't judge me to harshly.

It was now February 14, Valentine's Day. It's been three months since Cinder's coronation and so far Luna was doing okay.

Cinder was trying to get everything normal and not so messed up like it was when Levana was ruling Luna.

Shells no longer get taken away at birth and killed or kept secret from the world. Apparently, a certain group of Lunars don't like that. They think they are superior to shells. They want to be able to manipulate them like they can everybody else. They grew up thinking shells were evil mutations of the Lunar race, their parents always taught them to fear shells like we, earthens, fear "monsters." This group decided that they wanted to make a statement to the new Queen about their thoughts on shells. So they planned a little message to send to her...

It was Cress' first Valentine's Day really. She never got anything on this special day from anyone. Sybil never stopped in. She sometimes left Cress a simple chocolate heart to try and make her think that she cared for her a little bit.

Thorne was excited to bring Cress somewhere special and have a nice romantic day with her. He wanted her to know how much she meant to him.

He planned on taking her to Paris, France. They'd walk around the stores and get some baking. He'd then take her to the Eiffel Tower to have a romantic, candle lit dinner.

He had planned this weeks ago. He wanted this to go perfectly.

It was 9:30 in the morning. He had flown them to Paris the day before and they slept in the ship over night. Why sleep in a hotel when you have a ship?

He decided to get up and make her some pink chocolate chip pancakes in the shape of a heart. He got out the strawberries to decorate the plate.

When everything was finished he put it all on a tray and walked into their bedroom.

"Happy Valentine's Day!" He said loudly as he sat on his side of the bed.

Cress rolled over, her eyes open slightly. When she saw the breakfast that he had brought her she sat up quickly and her eyes shot open.

"Thanks Captain! I've never been able to celebrate Valentine's before." She said grabbing the tray and digging into her pancakes.

"You're welcome Cress! Now hurry and eat. Once you're ready then I have a whole day planned for us here in Paris!" He explained standing up.

He left to clean up the kitchen while she ate and got ready for the day.

It was about 11:30am when she was ready and they left.

Cress was in a light blue blouse and black skinny jeans. She had a light grey jean jacket on and some cute brown boots.

Thorne was in a light pink button up shirt and blue jeans. He was wearing his leather jacket and black sneakers.

They exited the ship with their arms linked.

"Okay. First, we are going to go sight seeing. Then, we are going to go to some bakeries and get delicious cookies called macarons. Obviously we will get other things but macarons are amazing and you have to try those for sure! After that, we will go and have a nice dinner on top of the Eiffel Tower." He laid out their day to her as they walked down the streets of Paris.
