Two tortured souls

Till the end of the line.

Two months passed since Steve died, and Bucky had big plans. That night you and Bucky had a date. "What if she says no Sam." Sam laughed "She won't Bucky you two are so in love. Have you seen the way she looks at you. You got nothing to be worried about." "Thanks bird brain." "No problem tin man."

A few minutes later you came downstairs. Bucky couldn't help but stare, you looked amazing. You had on a skin tight black dress with a open back and some black heels. Bucky Barnes himself was speechless.  "Wow y/n you look great." You smiled. "Not so bad Yourself Barnes. Now let's go."

You and Bucky went to your favorite restaurant and then watched a movie. Finally you got to the fireworks. They lit up the night. Bucky loved to see your face as you watch the stars dance in the sky as the fireworks went off. It was quite cute. It was his time. He got down on one knee. You turned around you gasped. "Doll I love you more than anything else in this world." he started "and I want us to be together for ever. I wanted to settle down and start a family in the 40's. I didn't think I still wanted that until I met you. I want to grow old together. Well in my case older. So y/n will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?" And at that moment a firework shot into the sky that said "Will you marry me?"  You jumped into his arms. "Yes." 

Four months later.

You began walking down the isle to the song ocean eyes. Bucky was in awe at the sight of you in your dress. His vows made you cry; Yes we have both been through some rough times in the past year, but we were together. After one mission I almost lost you. I didn't know I was head over heels for you till then. You nearly scared the life out of me doll. That's when I was at my breaking point. We  both have our scars from our past. But I can't imagine facing these scars with anyone else. Just no I will love you to the end of the line."

You were married for a month and already pregnant. You had to tell him. How would he react. You think to your self. Screw it.
"Hey Bucky we need to talk." He immediately got nervous. "What's wrong sweetheart." "I-um I-I'm pregnant." His eyes teared up. He fell to his knees and began to kiss your stomach. "I love both." He smiled like a child on Christmas.
"I'm gonna be a dad." He ran around your room chanting that. Like a kid.
You were happy. For once you were happy.
And you were going to be happy form now on.
