The day after Leader and Paul went through the CCC escape tunnel, Leader sent Marcus to eliminate Freddie Giglione, the mastermind behind the brutal murder of Matthew Gestarda's family. Paul had warned Leader not to, but Leader predicted that this was just to keep up a reputation in front of his driver, and he would not do anything about it if Leader didn't make it obvious it was done by him. A week later, as the Trident and Campadra continued to deal with the CCC, as well as them popping up in the Musetti's territory, Marcus began the "accidental" murder of Freddie.

Freddie was leaving a club with a girl he had met inside in Jersey. Marcus was in a stolen car, and he had ripped off the license plate; not like anyone was going to care that much. He drove around the club until he saw Freddie leaving with the girl. When this happened, he made sure there were no guards with Freddie. There was none, just the girl. Freddie had his arm around the girl as they planned to cross the street. Just as they were going from the club to the sidewalk on the other side of the street, Marcus went full speed across the road, traveling at the max speed his car could go. Just as the drunken Freddie looked over at the car, Marcus ran into him, practically cutting him and the girl in half. Blood shot everywhere, and Marcus continued zooming by, blood and guts all over the front of the car. He was laughing, as he loved the rush of driving so fast into someone without a care in the world. When people starting screaming, Freddie's friend Antonio came out and saw the bloody mess, and noticed it was Freddie laying dead on the ground. It was 11:30 at night, but Freddie knew he had to call somebody. So Antonio called Freddie's wife, who then called Paul and told him that Freddie was dead. Paul knew who was behind it.

"Where did it happen? Did Antonio see who did it?" Paul said, very calmly, much to the disgust of Freddie's wife.

"That asshole was at a club leaving with a girl! But oh God, the person flew off in the car he told me. No one saw who was inside." She said as she cried.

"Alright, I'm gonna call Antonio and go over to the scene now. Don't come." He told her as he got out of bed, to his wife's irritation. Paul put on a polo shirt and some slacks, and his watch and told his wife he was going to the scene, and that one of his captains was dead. She was shocked, and agreed to let him go.

Paul drove to the scene where an ambulance had showed up. Despite there being no government anymore, there was still many hospitals that were funded by the Mob, most of which used good up to date equipment. Of course they charged a lot of money, but that's what you'd expect from a mob-run hospital. They loaded him into the ambulance, and Antonio saw Paul.

"Hey Paul. This is crazy. How many of our top guys are gonna die this year? Paul looked at the blood everywhere.

"Yeah, it's crazy. Did you see who was in the truck? Did anyone?" Paul was still quite calm, which is unusual for him after losing an ally.

"No, I was inside. The people out here said it was going so fast all they saw was a black flash appear and then disappear, along with Freddie and the girl." Antonio admitted.

Paul looked at Antonio, a bit mad. "Did you really have to tell his wife that he was with a girl? You couldn't have fucking left that part out?" Antonio looked ashamed.

"Yeah, I know. It was the heat of the moment. She asked me why no one was with him and I said there was someone with him just not one of us, and I think she got the hint." Paul now got mad and grabbed him by the collar.

"You think this funny you stupid fuck? Now his wife is gonna go tell her friends that our ally got murdered while he was cheating on her!" Antonio now looked afraid.

Paul let go of his collar. "When they get him over there, call his wife and tell her. Then go home, and get some rest. The stake of our family is on the line with these cocksucking CCC guys everywhere." Paul stated as he started to walk away. He whipped his hand. "I have enough things to worry about already. I don't need this shit." He groaned. Antonio looked at him and then looked back at the ambulance, which was about to drive away.
