The Turmoil Escalates

It has been 2 days since the Campadra killing. The Campadra capos have been on the search, spearheaded by the ruthless Paul Vanostro, who is best known for publicly executing five teenagers pretending to be police in 2038, even wearing fake badges they stole from a dollar store. Leader sits in his grand office, on the computer looking for news reports to see if they have any insight on who could have killed Carlo. Of course, without any police to relay information to the broadcast, there was no information. Today is also the day Second Spear Luca Lenosico, Leader's brother, comes home from a business trip to Washington. He enters Leaders office, with his bodyguards staying outside, talking to the guards outside the door.

"Guess who's back!" Luca yells as he enters the room in a brown suit, with his arms extended and a big smile. Leader gets up from his chair, quickly closing the news tab. "Welcome home, Luca." The two brothers give each other a big hug. "So how was Washington? Anything new?" Leader asks as he signals to Luca to sit down. "No, more of the same. All the buildings are in ruins, the stores are getting stolen from at any point in time, and there are still schmucks driving around in pick-up trucks from the '20s shooting into the air. So, regular stuff, I guess." They both laugh. "Yeah, that's how it goes now. Though I would expect the least destruction to happen down there. Did you go to the white house? See any burning people or something?" They laughed again. "No, no burning people. But actually, when I went down there, I did see quite a few 'police' if you can even call them that anymore." Leader looked shocked "Police? Those really still exist?" Luca lost his smile. "Yeah. They had a different name on the cars though. It said 'CCC' I don't know what it means. All the cops had on big blue armor, masks, shields, and these bigass guns. But get this. They were shooting at some goons at the fence who were throwing beer bottles over. They even killed two, and then the other two ran off." Leader looked very confused. "They were killing? Hm. Are you sure these were police and not some white house guards or something?" Luca pulled out his phone. No, they were definitely police, 'cause I saw them outside too. Actually, I saw some while we were at the airport. Me and the guys walked right by them, because there's no way I'm gonna hide from some blue-suited assholes. Leader was silent. He was worried, as if he didn't have enough to deal with. "I even took some pictures. Here, look." Luca showed Leader the pictures. They were tall, buff and had large blue masks with visors, covering their entire head. They had "CCC" on their sleeves and guns. "There were that many of them just at the airport? Holy shit." Luca put away his phone. "Yeah, there was at least 12 of them. Everyone was avoiding them, except me. As Luca finished talking, Raphael walked in. "There's my boy," He said with a smile as he gave Luca a hug. "Francesco, I dealt with the Musetti boys. They should be fine now." He said, giving Leader a hug. "Good. Did they put in Joseph?" Leader sat back down, as did Luca and Raphael. "Yeah. They had Johnny whacked. they ordered it right as I was sitting there. Said they were still looking into who killed Bobby, but for now they needed to focus on reorganizing." Luca looked shocked. "Wait, you whacked Bobby Musetti? For what?" Raphael and Leader had forgotten to fill Luca in on it. "Yeah, I had Michael Fastenaro and two other agents go over and suffocate him. He killed Jordan, the Loco Mob boss." Luca's face went back to calm, and he nodded. "Alright, then he deserved it, the cocksucker." Leader's anger grew. "Well, at least one of the families is happy now, because we got a whole new fucking problem." Raphael looked concerned. "What do you mean? What happened?" Leader sighed and put his hand on his head. "Alright, so I went to go talk to Carlo Campadra about the hijacking of our guns that happened two weeks ago." Luca looked up, angry. "WHAT! Someone stole our guns! Who? Tell me so I can rip 'em a new one." Leader looked at his brother with a smirk. "Well, here's the thing. I already shot the guy who did it. The problem is, it was the same person I had the meeting with." Raphael looked shocked. "Oh fuck" he said, putting his hand to his head. "Don't tell me you killed him at the meeting." Leader sighed again. "Yeah, at the meeting. Then Marcus Kalmaste and Matthew Gestarda gunned down his bodyguards and all the other soldiers and guys in the office. But no Victims saw." Raphael stood up. "Are you fucking kidding me Francesco? Do you know what you just did? We're gonna have a War now! You know that fucker Paul's gonna be all over this shit." Luca walked over to grab a drink from the mini bar by the large window at the side of the room. "If we go to war, which we will, the Musetti are gonna take their side. If that happens, it'll be a full scale war between the Black Council. If this gets too out of hand, we can end up ruining the entire fucking Tride-" "Alright! I already know all of this. It won't get to that point. I'll make sure of it. With the Campadra boss dead, we need to get rid of the underboss, as he'll be out for nothing but revenge. Once he's gone, we can start working with the Campadra capos to fix this issue." Leader was worried even more than his brother and father, but he had to appear calm and collected, for everyone's sake. "Then what will we do with the Musetti? They don't have any leads on who killed Bobby.  If a Campadra guy tells one of the Musetti boys, they're going to realize it was us," Luca said as he went to get a drink. Leader looked at him. "We'll deal with them after the Campadra. Besides, which Musetti boys are friends with Campadra goons? If there are any, we just have to keep them away from each other." With that, they stayed in silence for a minute, before Leader got up. "Alright, I'm gonna go get Gianfranco dealt with. Dad, get some guys on the Musetti capos and soldiers. Just make sure none of their guys talk with any made Campadra guys until I have this resolved. Luca, stay here, and make sure none of our guys, whether it be in this office or any of the branch offices, find out I was the one who killed Carlo. Check phone lines, cameras, call the bosses, I don't care. Just make sure nobody starts spreading rumours." Luca and Raphael smiled and got out of their seats. "You got it, Leader," They both said. Leader walked out of the room with Raphael, and Luca stayed there, telling his guys and the guards outside to come in. "I'll make some calls, get guys to watch the bar and offices of the Musetti. I'll get all cameras to focus on the capos." Raphael said as he walked towards the elevators. "Alright. I'm going down to the 13th, I'm gonna get Matthew Gestarda to hit Gianfranco." Just before they reached their separate elevators, Raphael looked at Leader, and put his hand on his shoulder. "You sure you should use him again? He's got a family, and believe me, if they find out he was the one who killed Gianfranco AND he was there when their boss was killed, Paul's gonna have their heads." Raphael was genuinely concerned, as he knew how close Leader was with Matthew. "Don't worry about it. I'll make sure he leaves no traces and no witnesses. I'll put guys near his house, whatever needs to be done. look, He already knows about the Campadra hit, so I might as well use him instead of getting another guy involved." Raphael looked motivated. "Alright, then let's get this show on the road." He said, as they both entered the separate glass elevators.
