Chapter 33

It's been six months since Ryan past. I'm now seven months pregnant. The whole family has been so amazing with helping me move on. Dad..... I've never been so close to him. It still hurts, bad, but I'm slowly getting better. I picked up my classes online. I know he would be so mad that I dropped them. I started seeing a counselor which has helped. Andie, Shawn, and Ashely have been amazing support. Especially Ashley, we have gotten really close. Shawn is working with Drew. Drew is teaching him how to work on cars. Andie and I hang often. He definitely likes having a little sister. "AARON, DREW, SHAWN AND ANDIE ARE HERE!" Mom yelled from downstairs. I waddled down stairs. Andie is taking me to my counseling appointment. "You look very pretty today." I smile at mom. "Thank you Momma. Are you ready?" "Ya. It's about time preggo." Andie said as he chuckled. I slapped his arm. "H ha very funny ass!" "I love you. See you soon." Mom says as I hug her. "Love you to momma. You still Ok with Scar?" "Yes, now go." "By Sage."

           We have been in the car for about fifteen minutes laughing, talking, and signing to the radio. After a bit he went quiet. I looked at him, I can tell he has something to say. "Andie what is it?" He sighs as he looks at me. "How are you really? No B.S." I sigh looking out the window. I start picking at my nails as I talk. "I don't know. I mean I'm slowly getting better.... But...... I don't know Andie." He looks at me giving me a small smile. "Ok. You will tell me if there is something I should know.. Right?" I smile at him and nod. "Of course. I love you bro." "I love you to Aaron. So do you know the gender yet?" He asked changing the topic, I was happy about it. "No. I'm wanting it to be a surprise." I said laughing.

****DREW'S POINT OF VIEW****

    

              I'm waiting for Elena in the quad. I didn't have classes but I told her I would pick her up. Classes are going good for us both. She is studying to be a nurse. "Hey babe." I look up smiling to see my beautiful girl. She looks rough. "Are you ok?" I ask her. "Ya. Why wouldn't I be?" Ok? "I was just asking Love. You look little rough, beautiful, but rough." She gives me a short laugh. "Gee thanks! I'm tired. I literally got maybe two hours of sleep." I kiss her temple as I hand her the coffee I got her. "I'm sorry Love. Come on, lets get you home." As soon as we got in the truck she was curled up with my spare hoodie and was out like a light.

                 When we get to her house I pick her up, carefull not to wake her. I knock on the door as I hold her bridle style. Here mom opened the door. "What happened?" She started to panic. Elena started to stir. "Ssshh, she is asleep. I didn't want to wake her. I'm going to take her up stairs." She opens the door for me. "Thank you Drew." I smile, "It's no problem."

             I make my way to her room. I lay her down on the bed, removed her shoes, and covered her up. She stirs as I kiss her forehead. "Mmmm.. Drew?" "Ssshhh, it's ok Baby, go back to sleep. I love you." I tuck her in as she fell back asleep. I softly close her door as I leave. I see her mom in the kitchen. "Is she asleep?" I laughed and shake my head. "Oh ya, she should be out for awhile." She laughed as I checked the time, Shawn has already left. "I'm sorry but I got to go. I have to get home for work." "No problem Drew. Thank you for bringing her home and putting her to bed. I don't even want to know what time she went to bed." We both laugh as we walk to the door. "It's no problem at all. Have a good day." "By Drew."

                As soon as I get home I see mom walking with Thunder. "Hey mom what you up to?" She looks at me as I get out of the truck. "Hey just going for a ride. Your dad has Scar and Avery." I pet Thunder, "Like some company?" She smiles at me. "I would love it." I quickly saddled Rango and met mom outside. We were laughing and talking about everything. It was really good to spend time with her. "I miss this." She looks at me smiling. "I miss this to son. I love you." "I love you to mom. I have a rodeo on Saturday, you coming?" "I wouldn't miss it." I just smile at her as we continue our ride.
