Banging on the door woke us up. I look up as Amanda comes barging in. "AMANDA WHAT THE HELL-" "ETHAN SHUT UP! Sage it's Cobalt." I immediately jump up throwing on a bra and jeans. I quickly shove my boots on. "What do you mean it's Cobalt?" "He won't get up, his breathing is harsh. I already called Mia." A few months after Mia and I got into it she apologized. She actually ended up as a good friend. I quickly ran down the stairs, Ethan and Amanda on my heels.

        As soon as I got to his stall I see him. I already know Mia will be to late. I get down next to him stroking his cheeck. "Hey baby, come on boy. You have to get up, please Cobalt." I try pulling on his halter, he just grunts. I can't stop the tears as I beg for him to get up. I look uo and see Ethan and Amanda watching. Amanda is crying, Ethan looks heartbroken. I notice other people watching as well. "Ok, let me through!" I look over and see Mia pushing her way through to get in the stall. She quickly gets to work, after a few minutes she looks at Ethan then at me. "Sage I.... I am sorry." "No.... No please Mia do something!" Deep down I knew the truth. "Sage I wish there was something I could do. The pneumonia has gotten worst. He can barelg breath." I block everything else out. I just lay there holding him crying. "I love you boy." I then hears him take his last breath.
