⠀⠀⠀Professor Slughorn seemedto be quite buoyant when the Ravenclaws and the Slytherins slowly entered his class on the second day of classes, Monday. He was quite the sucker for rivalry and competition, and this class of his would contain just that. Manon Potter and Regulus Black were both here, of course! Why wouldn't the Potions class be competitive? And it was also quite a relief to the other students, the average or acceptable or slightly below average ones, because the rivalry between Regulus and Manon reduced Slughorn's attention on them.

⠀⠀⠀And so did Charlotte Damiens. Whenever Slughorn was about to blow up or humiliate any student, Charlotte would do something, anything to cause a distraction and make it better for the others. Many would wonder why wasn't she in Hufflepuff but when they saw just how ingenious her distractions were, Charlotte Damiens being sorted into Ravenclaw was suddenly the most obvious thing that had ever happened, in Hogwarts history.

⠀⠀⠀The weather outside was the usual for September 2nd at Hogwarts: stormy. Heavy and dense raindrops splattered against the glass windows at great speed, and clouds rumbled and growled at each other angrily, before taking each other head-on in a fit of fury. The outsides were tainted with greys and inside the dungeons, a flurry of blue and green hurried towards their sixth year Potions.

⠀⠀⠀Manon waltzed in with Charlotte about two minutes before the lesson started, the latter buzzing on excitedly about the couple of balls her family had attended during summer and the dresses she'd worn and the cute boys she'd met, whilst the former listened out of duty and mild interest.
