(Y/N)'s POV:

You wait in line to play 4-squares (if you don't know the game then search it up, it's kinda hard to explain) with your friends; (B/F/N), (F/N), (C/B/F/N) and some people you don't know very well like; (R/N), (C/N) and (C/F/N).

"Hey, (Y/N)." A voice calls out from behind you. You get startled and jump and in the process, hit his chin.

"S-Sorry, (C/N)..." you apologize to the boy behind you. He nods in response.

"It's fine, it was my fault for scaring you." He insists.

"N-no it's mine. I s-should've paid more a-attention..." you say, looking down at your (F/C) shoes, your (H/C) hair falling in your face.

"Are you ok, (Y/N)? You seem really nervous." He remarks. You look up in surprise. A light blush creeps on your face as you realize how hot he looks with his (C/H/C) falling perfectly over his beautiful (C/E/C) eyes. You and him hold eye contact for a minute or so.

"Uh... sorry. I just get kind of n-nervous around people I don't really k-know..." you say, breaking eye contact with him. You look to your left, hoping that he'll let it slide.

Out of the corner of your eye, you see him smirk.

(C/N)'s POV:

I smirk at the girl in front of me, lifting my hand to her chin. She's a bit to far away, so I take a step forward and my hand touches her chin. She almost jumps in shock again, but she doesn't.

She turns to face me once again and I step forward again. She attempts to step back, but I grab her hand, not wanting her to bump into (F/N). I pull her towards me and almost immediately a deep blush spreads across both of our faces as were only inches apart.

My brain goes blank and all I can think of is her. My grip on her loosens a bit and my eyes droop down a bit. Her eyes do the same and we move closer again. As soon as her eyes close, we both get knocked out of whatever trans we were in.

We both apologize and continue playing the game.

•~~~~•LATER THAT NIGHT•~~~~•
(Y/N)'s POV:

You sit on the grass of the hill, the moon's bright light illuminated it perfectly. It looked majestic and it gave you a comforting vibe. It didn't feel like you were being watched, but it felt like there was some sort of friendly spirit in the air.

Fireflies flew around and crickets made creaking sounds. You look down at the lake which reflected the full moon. Every full moon, your best friend would take you here. It was the last place you saw her before she was hit while walking home.

Every time you come here, you feel as though her spirit is here, like it's saying hello. You dream about her every night after you come here.

Suddenly, you hear footsteps. You turn around to see a silhouette of a person. The moonlight hits them and you see their face.

"(C-C/N)?" You ask, slowly standing up. He walks forward, being careful, as though a wrong step would trigger something.

"Hey..." he greets you, smiling.

"What brings you here?" You wonder. At this point, he's only a few inches away.

"I couldn't sleep so I decided to take a walk. I saw this hill and decided to take a look at the scenery." He explained, his hand behind his neck. "The moonlight hits this hill perfectly..." he mutters to himself more than to me.

"Yeah... I know..." you mumble back. "You know, my best friend, (B/F/N), used to take me here until she passed away. I come here as a coping mechanism." You ramble.

"Oh..." he whispers sympathetically. "I'm sorry..." he apologizes, his voice hushed.

"There's no need to be sorry. You didn't do anything." You reply, matching the tone of his voice.

"For someone who claims to be nervous around people they don't know, you seem at ease." He remarks. You find yourself blushing at his words. For some reason, this boy that you barely know makes you feel comfortable. Like nothing else matters.

"Maybe I feel at ease because I don't know you. Maybe it's just the fact that I might not see you a lot that makes me comfortable." You reason.

He takes your hands in his and puts his head beside yours.

"Maybe we can get to know each other." He says. Your blush intensifies at his words. It's almost as if he can control your emotions.

"Your voice is really nice." You blurt out, still in a quiet tone.

"Your hair is beautiful." He says, moving his head in front of you. He looks into your eyes and brushes your hair with his fingers.

"Your eyes look lustful." You compliment him, moving even closer to him. At this point, you're only about five inches apart.

"Your lips look so kissable right now." He says, tilting his head and leaning in. His eyes are almost fully closed now.

Without saying anything, you close your eyes and your lips connect. Your arms go to his neck and his travel down your back. One lands on your waist, the other in the middle of your back.

Minutes go by, but it feels like hours. You and him are in your own little world. The moonlight hits you two perfectly and it looks almost unreal.

Your silhouettes on the hill, the trees lining it on either side. The moon in the distance, shining so brightly.

Maybe (C/N) isn't just another person that you don't know.
