3rd person:

They were getting closer and closer to their new home which made Will antsy and anxious. He kept his head low and fiddled with his fingers the rest of the way.

He didn't feel like drinking his slurpee even though he basically harassed Jonathan to get him it.

It was just melted sugar water now.

That's kind of what Will wanted to do. He just wanted to melt away, disappear so he would never have to see this house, their neighborhood, the neighbors, the city.

Remember earlier when I told you he was a little excited about moving? I was very wrong.

Will did not wanna do this.

But there was nothing he could do about it. They were 5 minutes away from his new life.

A happy life, he hoped.

No more Mind Flayer, no more demodogs, no more upsidedown.

The bad luck has always followed wherever Will went, and he was praying that this time he would actually get a chance to be happy after being depressed for 3 years straight of pain, suffering, and anxiety.

The same went for Jane. She wanted nothing but her, Will, and his family to be happy.

This is kind of their last chance to be happy, you could say.

It's not like they are going to move AGAIN.

Joyce and Jonathan don't make enough money for that to happen.

Eventually, Jonathan pulled up to their new driveway.

Will did have to admit, The house looked a lot nicer than the one he left behind in Hawkins.

It had light blue walls and a dark teal roof and had multiple windows facing the outside. There was a cute porch and small driveway that could fit one car.

It gave off a happy feeling in which WIll really liked. His old house gave off a depressed feeling with all the dark green colors.

He definitely like the change.

"This is it. We are here.. finally." Joyce cheered.

"You excited to see your new room, Will?" Jonathan asks.

"Yeah." Will said blankly.

Even though his words and tone didn't say it, he was a little excited. Maybe he has a room big enough for a bigger desk he can put all of his art supplies on.

That would be awesome, he thought.

He stumbled out of the car and shut the door. He turned his head to see Jane admiring the beautiful house in front of her.

"This is our home now?" She asked Joyce.

Joyce nodded her head joyfully and lead all of them inside.

"This house is bigger than our other one so there will be enough space for the four of us." Joyce turned the key in the lock and opened the door for Will and Jane to go exploring.

Both of them stood there waiting for Joyce to say something.

"Well go on." Joyce laughs.

Jane looks at Will and smiled bitterly. "Come on Will."

She walked slowly down one of the halls and gaped at how pretty the kitchen was.

"Pretty."

"Yeah. It's definitely gonna be different." Will followed behind and shoved his hands into his jacket pockets.

"Are you okay Will?" Jane asks concerned.

Will looked at her and plastered a fake smile on his face.

"i'm fantastic. Thanks." He lies.

Since she didn't really understand sarcasm, she grinned widely and wraps her arms around Will.

"I guess we are siblings now. Aren't you... excited?" Her smile fades while her brother hesitates to speak.

"Yeah.. it's going to be interesting having a sister."

He did mean that. He was somewhat, to an extent, excited about having her as a sister, but he was also a little... how do you put it... uh, mad/pissed/confused.

But maybe he was just being to hard on her. He doesn't even know her that much.

"Im gonna go find my room."

Will awkwardly nods his head and turns the other way.

This will be fun.
