Epilogue Chapter 2 ➳ I love you

Author's Pov:

Will quickly swings the door open and sees the bright faces of the Wheelers. Karen and Ted were standing behind Mike and Nancy, and Karen had her hands laying on Mike's shoulders.

Mike was more than excited to see the Byers family, by extension, he was excited to see Will.

Karen was actually surprised at how excited her son was. Of course she knew that the two boys are bestfriends, but Mike had never been that excited about seeing Will.

'It must have been about Eleanor'... Karen thought.

Mike had woke up an hour and a half before they were supposed to, and started trying to rush everyone out the door. He kept patronizing Nancy. Saying, "Can't you pack any faster? We're going to miss our flight."

Then Nancy turned around once she had enough, and snapped saying, "Michael Wheeler! I understand you're in a rush to see your boyfriend, but our flight doesn't leave for another 5 hours." Then shoved him out of her room.

Mike groaned and tried his hardest not to retaliate and kick the door.

He shook his head and walked down the hall to the bathroom. He grabbed all of the needed things and walked over to his room to shove them into his suitcase.

'Hopefully the shampoos dont leak' he tells himself.

Once the Wheeler's left their house, they got into the car and drove to the airport.

"Yay I'm excited to get there." Mike announced.

"Mike, we know you do. Stop talking about it." Nancy snaps.

"Hey. No arguing back there." Ted orders.

Mike rolls his eyes and looks at Nancy. "Aren't you excited to see Jonathan?"

"What? Of course I am." She scoffs.

"Then why are you being rude to me about being excited."

"Because you keep saying it."

"Whatever."

"wHatEveR." She mocks.

"Aren't you supposed to be like, 19?"

"I am 19."

"Doesn't seem like it." Mike reprimands.

"Kids stop arguing! For goodness sake." Karen shouts.

Holly flinches in her carseat and frowns. She wasn't used to mommy yelling.

"Sorry mom..." Mike trails off.

"Sorry." Nancy shrugs.

Will immediately dashes from his room and runs towards the door. His boyfriend was finally here.

After many boring and lonely months, he can finally see him again.

But him mom beats him to it. Joyce opens the door and smiles once she sees the faces from behind the open door.

Karen and Holly were wearing matching spring dresses and everyone else was just wearing their regular normal clothes.

"Welcome you guys." Joyce says as she opens the door wider for everyone to walk in.

Will waited impatiently to see Mike walking through the door. His heart beat got faster each second.

Then he saw him.

Mike was looking around the house in awe. Mike thought the house looked beautiful inside and out. It gave off really happy vibes, unlike his house and Will's old house.
