Chapter Seven:I'm Fine

Here we are again. New mission,this time you have to help the Hawaiian forces to rescue the people in a building. Not the usual work at least. Or this is what you all thought.
You're now on the plane sitting in front of Riley, but you can't stop staring at Mac. You think of the latest nights and can't believe yet. That's the best think ever happened to me since... "Hey y/n!" Riley is now looking at you. "Yeah?" you do a wondered face as she raise an eyebrow "Where were you last night? I thought you were at home, but I got wrong..." you blush a bit "Mmm... Promise you won't tell anyone?" she nods and comes closer "I think there's something between Mac and I and..." "What do you mean by something... You had...?" she looked a bit surprised. "What if the answer is yes?" you smile with puppy eyes. "No nothing. I'd be happy and of course a bit, how can I say... Stunned." "I wonder why." "Well 'cause you met just last week..." you laugh "You know I thought the same thing yesterday."
"Arrived babies!" shouts Jack looking at you two. "Fantastic! Hawaii, Bozer's coming for ya!!" you all have a laugh.

Time lapse (sorry I'm too lazy for all the story)
"We have really risked today" Mac tells you, you smile at him "Yeah I must agree with you" he opens his mouth as to say something but Matty interrupts him. "I want to talk with both of you, so follow me please..." you enter the usual room and sit on the little couch. "Before you all suspect something, I understood everything on my own. Second I want to pose a singular question. Have you passed a night together??" your eyes widen "Yes" you say instantly "No" answers Mac at the same moment. You look at each other for some seconds. "Yes" you finally agreed. "I told you both to be careful with the feelings for each other, but..." a little smile appeared on her face "I cannot command your hearts. I wish you will keep you private life out of here though. Have I been clear enough?" you smile and nod.
You exit the Phoenix. "It was quite scary." Mac says as he wraps his arms around your waist and leans a kiss on your cheek. "Why are you so silent?Are you okay?" "Yes, I'm fine. I was just thinking that maybe she is right, maybe I'm not really ready for all this again... Maybe..." Mac stops you and pick your head up to face him "Look at me. You can be sure I won't let anything divide us and tearing us apart okay?" he smiles and give you a soft kiss on your lips. "So, what are you going to do tonight?" he asks you grabbing your waist and pulling you closer. You put a hand on his chest "I was thinking of sleeping at yours but I'm pretty sure that as my head touches the pillow I'll fall asleep... So you can carry me home, if you want." he grabs your hand and heads you to the car. "I don't. So you'll come with me and we'll fall asleep together. How does that sound?""That sounds quite good." You answer going in the car.
As previewed, you go in the bedroom and let go on the pillow. In few minutes you're gone. "Hey babe, what if..." Mac asks, but you're already in your dreams. "Goodnight my angel" he lays down by your side and you just feel his arm around you and you feel safe. I'm always gonna be fine when you're around.
