As we both went down into the great hall after the coldness of the starting night hit us, there were just as many people as there were when i left. Just guessing this would be a long night. My hand still interwined with his as they fit perfectly together.

"Do you think my parents noticed that i was gone?" i asked the tall man and he just shook his head with a smile. "They wont and even if they did, whats wrong with it? We wouldnt have met probably if you havent been such a sly little princess." he grinned and i just hit his lightly in the side with us laughing afterwards. But it was true. If i would have followed all the rules, i wouldnt have found my luck. Sometimes you need to go your own ways to find what makes you truly happy.

"Oh there is my brother Jinyoung. Lets go to him." i said and dragged Mingyu with me as i had spotted my older brother sitting on the stairs alone with his head in the palm of his hand. He seemed quiet frustrated.

"Jinyoung. Hey. What are you doing here?" i asked my older brother as we sat down next to him on the cold stairs. "oh... Nothing. Just thinking." he said without looking up because he probably knew it was me. "About what?" i asked further, being interested what sorrows my brother had to help him.

"Just something personal its-" he started but i cut him off before he could finish speaking. "About Jihya?" after i said these words he was just simply quiet and looked at me in shock. "How do you-" how i did know about it? I better not tell him that i read his letters secretly, or i will be a head shorter than before. "Long story but unimportant. My advice is for you just to tell mom and dad okay? They will understand and im sure Jihya will know when she's ready. Dont worry Jinyoungie." he sighted with a nod. "You read my letters dont you?" i giggled lightly and nodded standing up quickly dragging Mingyu behind me. "Im sorry but they just were too interesting not to read. Who else gets letters with little baby flowers put on the envelope with the inscription 'to my dear Jinyoung'?" i laughed seeing Jinyoung blushing slightly but sending me a killer gaze.

"You better run y/n. Oh is that... Mingyu?" he suddenly changed his tone of voice when he saw the boy i was tugging with. Mingyu just simply waved his hand short with a smile, showing me that they obviously knew each other. "Long time no see." the man on my hand said and earned a nod from Jinyoung. "I did not expect you to show up here. Especially with my little sister..." he smirked in his direction letting him laugh lightly.

"I know, i wouldnt have either. Its all y/ns fault." he said quickly with a laugh and pulled me closer gently for me to smell his wonderful scent again stronger. All i did was looking up to him in his arms. How could he be so charming?

"Where do you know my brother from?" i asked him more quiet and he smiled stroking a loose strand of hair behind my ear letting my heart flutter even more. "Just some Business and financial training for princes my father had taken me to. Jinyoung was there as well." he explained me calmly and i nodded interested in all of Mingyus relations to other people.

We said bye to my older brother as we finally headed downstairs to where all the other people were. In the corner of my eye i saw Hyunjin talking and laughing to some boys in his age, i think their names were Minho and Jaemin. I've seen them a few times before as well.

And just as i saw my parents, a very pretty girl crossed our ways and had a reproachful gaze pointed to Mingyu. "Mingyu! Dont say you were on that rooftop again! Everytime when there is an event you just disappear!" her eyes slowly wandering to me and our interwined hands. "Better be glad i did." he simply said with a smile and pulled me a bit closer. "Thats princess y/n, i bet you know her. Y/n thats my little sister Yeri. She can be quiet feisty at times." he whispered laughing to me as he introduced us both to each other. "I see. Its nice to meet you Yeri." i laughed with my hand in front of my mouth.

"Dont trust his charming personality! He always sneaks away from everything. Its unbelievable how nobody but me notice." she giggled with a finger pointing towards her brother in a warning way. Her eyes turned into pretty crescents as she laughed. They definitely had the same beautiful genes.

But before we could talk any further, she obviously spotted one of her friends and ran off to her with the words 'Chaeyoungiee im here! You didnt tell me you were coming!' Mingyu and me both laughed at her lively personality and kept walking towards my parents who were talking to Mingyus parents at the moment by chance.

The palms of my hands began to sweat and my heart was racing again. "Im nervous Mingyu. What will they say? I've never introduced a man to my parents." i pressed his hand a bit more as the thought of telling my parents that i want to spend the rest of my life with this man, finally hit me.

"Dont worry Y/n... They will be over all clouds thats how happy they will be for you. And my parents will love you as well." he carefully said with his soft silky voice which let all my insides melt like ice cream. I was put in like a magic spell. I trusted him so much even though i just met him. His hands gently caressed the back of my hands with a smile and i nodded.

"Okay... Then lets go." i smiled and we both made our way to our parents. And that was the start of such a beautiful love story, even if we told our children and grandchildren what we all did go through together, they would want to meet their own Mingyu. And that was Mingyu to me: the love of my life.
