Life sometimes was weird. Having two older sisters and one younger sister was weird. Having your braces removed after 5 years was weird. And meeting your soulmate was even weirder when you thought your whole life you were one of the few, who were unlucky and didnt had one. But after this one particular day it seemed like nothing could weird you out anymore. You ask yourself how weird could a normal day get? Well let me tell you the story how i met my soulmate:

It was May the 7th. Just a normal spring day with lots of children playing and laughing outside, many blossoming trees with nice smelling flowers and the perfect day for a shopping spree through town.

Growing up with three sisters was never easy in particular. Especially when you all had different interests, differing from a severe obsession with kpop boy groups of your little sister over posessing tons of make up to owning the newest motorcycles. Yes... These were your sisters.

You on the other hand had always been on the more quiet and creative side. You enjoyed staying in your room, painting a new picture while listening to all kinds of music. There was even this one time you tried composing your own song but being a zero in understanding technology this project was soon to be ended.

But that didnt stop you from expressing your thoughts and feelings in other ways. You loved singing from the bottom of your heart but ever since some older boys in school made fun of you when you were younger, it became more of a private thing you loved to do.

On top of that, no one in your family really enjoyed the same hobbies as you did, so you often just found yourself alone in your room singing and painting. To be honest there never really had been a single person in your life with the same hobbies and passions as you. It was always like a piece of you was missing and all you had to do was find it. But that was tougher than said.

Of yourse you knew of soulmates, everyone did and learned about it in school, but you just never seemed to understand what your connection was. You always had hoped that somewhere out there had to be this missing piece. But with the years passing without a single sign of your soulmate you settled on the thought that you may felt this missing part inside of you because you were one of the few, who were born without a soulmate. Only while being deep in thoughts, everything inside of you screamed to find him.

So back to May the 7th. Nice day, nice weather. Peacefully enjoying your cereals, it was when your little sister came down the stairs running with a big fat grin on her face, fully dressed with a camera in her hands, that you knew something was up again. And it certainly probably had to do with kpop.

And you were right. "y/nnnn... Are you coming to town with me pleaasee? You know, today is this one idols birthday, who just debuted finally after all these years and there are these posters everywhere in the subway stations and..." she took a short break to catch her breath, "... And i REALLY REALLY want to take some pictures with them but i need someone to take them so... I beg you please come with me, no one else wants to come." she finally sat down next to you as she finished her little speech, looking up at you with her best puppy eyes. Even though she was just 2 years younger than you she was surprisingly slick and clever with her words.

"Please y/n?" she asked once more since you havent given an answer yet. You sighted and stood up shoving the last spoon full of cereal in your mouth. "Fine, i wanted to go shopping anyway... BUT dont expect me to go to every subway station with you alright?" you never saw her nodding this fast and chuckled amused. "Okay wait here, im going to get dressed very quick."

With these words you went upstairs into your room, dressing yourself in a simple shirt and pants before grabbing your purse and wallet and go downstairs. You werent really in the mood to go out all fancy looking so you just put on some light concealer.
