Attached is the image of how I roughly see Laney and Olivia, if on the app look up, and if on the web look to the side. I drew them myself on December 24, 2014.

"Hello, my name is Laney. I am currently in eighth grade, and I love to read." Laney says aloud. Staring at the mirror and still in her pajamas, she practices her public speaking skills.

Olivia walks into the room, "what are you doing?" she asks harshly.

Laney blushes like she was caught red-handed for a crime. "Nothing."

Olivia raises her eyebrow, "okay," she gives in. Olivia and Laney are sisters, born on the same day. They like to tell people they are fraternal twins, although they are not even biologically related. Both of them were adopted at young ages and coincidentally had the same birthday and age.

Olivia was slightly smaller by both in height and weight although older by a few hours. Having long black hair, slanted eyes and a light skin tone she differ greatly from Laney who has long black curly hair, large round eyes and a deep tan. Olivia was more outgoing and athletic, Laney was more secluded and imaginative. The two of them almost polar opposites, despite growing up in the same household.

Olivia walks away but stops at the threshold. "Laney, a few friends and I decided to go ice skating and I was wondering if you would like to come with me."

Laney rolls the thought around in her head, she didn't want to seem as a tag along, and has not stepped onto the ice before. "Thanks, I would like to."

Olivia smiles and leaves, definitely to text her friends. Laney turns before the mirror again, and begins to retell her favorite events in seventh grade.

Laney says hi to the many people she either usually ignored or have never made eye contact with. Laney often avoided Olivia's friends because of their pre-determined expectations for her. She does not like their playful humor either, naturally killing all of the jokes.

"Hi, my name's Josh," he says as he raises his hand. Laney shakes his hand, remembering the lessons on how long, and firmly the hand shake is suppose to be.

She smiles, "Laney."

"Have you ever ice skated before?" Josh asks, whiles clicking his rental skates into place.

Laney shakes her head, "only if you count watching the winter Olympics." She mimics Josh's movements with the skates.

He laughs heartily despite the chilling air. Laney likes his laugh, it reminds her of the times she wasn't so seclusive and would run around as if time did not exist, as if their was no harm in the world.

Olivia informs Laney that the others are heading out onto the ice rink. Laney nods, and stands up, finding her balance to be quite stable. Josh stands up after safely storing his shoes.

Laney grabs onto the outer wall, and in a shake-like manner, moves forward. Josh shows her how to move her feet, turn, and stop when necessary. Once Laney got the basics of how not to fall she skated over to Olivia to prove so. Olivia smiles, glad that her sister is happy.

The group had separated slightly throughout the ice, easily recognizable by their movements and laughter. Laney meets back up with Josh, chatting about recent movies. Olivia and her friends decide that they should buy snacks and head out soon after they had a few hours ice skating. Laney and Josh follow suit, they two say goodbye and hugged. Laney smiles sadly, she knew as Josh leaves, she knew it would be a while before they see each other again.

Thank you so much for reading my story. I am so excited that you are enjoying it. Please comment and vote. Very soon I will be out with another chapter.

Also I would like to dedicate this chapter to everyone who got past their fears and did something brilliant.
