I know for some of you readers out there you really like Sam, so here is another chapter from her Point Of View. Also I am contemplating if I should put this up for the Wattys or not, please PM me or comment below.
The bell rings and Sam lifts her head. Her eyes blurr, and senses are threw off at the sudden end to class. She picks up her backpack, slings it over her shoulders and shuffles after everyone else. It was normal for her to be the last to leave, she just didn't have the same mentality as others on the joy of Fridays. She waits outside with her friends at the front of the school, hundreds of other students doing the same.
Tyler walks up to Sam. "Hey, how are you doing?" he greets casually, Tyler excited that football practice was cancelled that day.
"Okay," Sam says nonchalantly. "Hey, Tyler what do you do when you are losing a friend?"
"Ask Megan," he mutters. Sam gives him a questioning look, "Sorry, I have had so many things on my mind lately. Megan told me she was moving away in a few weeks."
Sam picks up something next to her and hands it to Tyler. Tyler stares at it oddly. "Where did you get the ice cream from?"
Sam smiles, "I literally just bought it before you saw me, remember the ice cream vendor that comes to the school?"
Tyler nods and scoops some of the ice cream into his mouth. "Thanks," he says after swallowing.
They both look up when someone honks their horn. "Hey, that's my mom. See you tomorrow at bible study." Sam notifies.
"See you," Tyler says. They hug briefly before Sam runs off towards the awaiting car.

Tyler and Josh are playing horse when Sam walks outside. "Hey, you guys they're serving dinner now. It's a short line."She announces.
Tyler and Josh walk inside, agreeing on a rematch later. Everyone eats dinner mostly in quiet, then walk over to their bible studies.
Everyone sits down in a large circle of approximately twenty people. The bible study leader ask if someone can read 1 John 4:21. Sam volunteers and reads loudly for everyone to hear, "And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister."
