Chapter 12

Next Day
Y/N's POV
I was studying on my desk when I heard a knock at the door. I tell the person to come in and I turn to see who it is. I look and see Jimin come into my room. 

Jimin: Hey, Y/N. 

I feel my heart race as I see him come near me. 

Jimin: How are you feeling does anything hurt?

I just chuckle as I shake my head. 

Y/N: Jimin for the 100th time, I'm ok. I don't have a scratch anywhere. 

He sighs in relief as I laugh. He comes and sits next to me on my desk as I finish writing. 

Jimin: So are you going to the school carnival?

The university is holding a carnival to raise money for charities. Erin is going and I wanted to go with her but dad said no. 

Y/N: Dad won't let me. 

Jimin: He didn't say why?

Y/N: No, he just said I can't go. 

I pout a little as I see him laugh. Then I see his face change. 

Jimin: What if I told you that you can go to the carnival without your dad knowing?

Y/N: I would say your insane. 

Jimin: Well, you can tell your dad that you're going to be at the library studying for a while like let's say 4 hours. Instead of going to the library, you can hang out with Erin and me at the carnival. And then we can hang out for a while until its time to head home. 

I smile at him. 

Y/N: You are a genius. 

I laugh as I hug him. He mustn't have expected it like me. I feel his arms wrap around me as my heart race. I pull away as I stare at his face close to mine. I want to kiss him, but I know I have to tell him my feelings first. I know the perfect place, the carnival. 

Jimin: Well, then I guess, I'll see you there then. 

I smile as he ruffles my hair and leaves.

I feel my heart pound as I keep writing on of my papers. 

Hours Later
I told my dad that I would be at the library studying. He agreed and let me stay till 10 pm. It gave me more to spend time with Jimin and Erin. But more I can finally tell Jimin my feelings towards him. 

Jimin's Father dropped me off at the school.

Jimin's father: Well, Jimin already told me that you both are heading to the carnival. So I just wanted to say that have fun. I'll pick you and Jimin up at 10 pm.

Y/N: Thank you, Mr. Park. 

He smiles as I leave the car and wave to goodbye. 

I walk past the library and find the football field filled with sounds of happiness and lights illuminating the place. I head to the main gate and see Erin and Jimin waiting for me. 

I run up to Erin and hug her as we both squeal in excitement. Jimin just sees us and give us a face. I just laugh as I smack his arm playfully. 

We all head in and we buy food. I was so hungry that I eat two corn dogs, some fried Oreos and lots of soda. Jimin looks at me weird as I eat my food. 

Y/N: Jimin, what are you staring at me?

Jimin: I have never seen you like this before. Only when we were kids, I remember you ate a whole cake by yourself. You didn't even let me get a piece of it. 

I just laugh as he takes a bite from my food. I look at him in shock as he just smiles. 

Jimin: Come on, let's play some games. 

We go around the carnival playing games trying to win prizes. Jimin actually ended up winning a small pink bear for me after I failed 5 times to win it. 

Time was flying by so fast as I see I only a few minutes left to be here before Jimin's father picks us up. 

I then notice the Ferris wheel, I can get enough time to tell Jimin my feelings to him before it's too late. 

I look at him. 

Y/N: Jimin, let's ride the Ferris wheel. 

I take his hand and pull him towards it. We stand in line for a while until it's our turn to enter. We sit on the seats and slowly go up.  The ride stops as we sway waiting there to come down. 

I take a deep breath as I being to speak.

Y/N: I have been waiting for the chance to say this, but I don't know when I will and if I don't I will regret it for the rest of my life. 

Jimin looks at me as I face him. 

Y/N: What I'm trying to is that I love you. 

I see his eyes widen a little, I then lean in to kiss his lips. I feel his lips move with mine as my hands pull his hair a little. 

I pull away as I smile. 

Y/N: I love you Jimin. 

Jimin's POV
I had time to reflect on my confession to Y/N. And now I know I much as I want her to say that I love you to me. Even if it's possible, in reality we can't be together. No one would accept our relationship. Her father won't accept it and society won't accept it. She will give up her crown, the throne for me and I can't accept that for her. That she is doing all of this for me. 

I have to face the truth and it pains me to tell her this as she tells me she loves me. 

Jimin: I'm sorry Y/N, I can't. 

Y/N's POV
I look at Jimin as I breathe heavily. He said he loves me a couple of weeks ago and now he's saying he can't.

Before I can say anything else, the Ferris wheel moves completely down. He gets out and walks away as I follow far behind him. I let Erin know that we will be on our way back home. I tell her I'll text her later with what happened as I see Mr. Park in the limo.

I get in the back of the car as Jimin is in the front. The ride is in silent as I wonder what happened. 

Why do all these things happen to me?
