I worked my phone frantically to turn C.H.I.P. into a scuba diver, but he wasn't changing!
Then I wondered, why wasn't C.H.I.P. changing into a scuba diver by himself? Was he panicking so much, he couldn't think straight? He needed to save himself before he turned blue!
But then C.H.I.P. did something strange.
He somehow squeezed his body really tight and slithered out of the fishing line! Then he yanked the vent tube from the top of the sub and breathed in as much air as he could. And then he swam off really fast—like a fish!
Okay, he wasn't exactly like a fish 'cause he was still breathing air. I guess he was more like a dolphin. Anyway, he held onto the vent tube and swam to the back of the sub really fast with his back feet together like a dolphin tail . . . and he jammed the tube into the sub's propeller!
The huge submarine made an awful, screeching metal sound. Then it ground to a stop just before it was able to ram the dam again.
Dr. Eelstrom was finally shut down—for good!
And Vortville was saved once again, this time for good too!
Ooookay, back up, you're saying. What's all this about C.H.I.P. THE DOLPHIN?
I was wondering exactly the same thing. Then I figured it out: I knew that the C.H.I.P. microthingy 2.0 might give C.H.I.P. some new skills, but I had no idea what they might be. Now I knew: C.H.I.P. could still be programmed to instantly have lots of supercool secret agent skills. But now he could also be programmed with animal skills—and who knows what else?!
I was itching to get C.H.I.P. back to HQ to find out what other skills he was capable of.
Maybe insect skills?
Or plant skills?
How about alien skills?!
Okay, I was getting way ahead of myself. But, come on, this was blowing my mind!
