Underwater, Dr. Eelstrom's evil plan was disintegrating right before his eyes.

And his big sub was disintegrating too! C.H.I.P. jamming the propeller made the sub start to come apart. And, for one thing, that meant that my dad and his commando team were finally released from their underwater prison! They swam up from the sub, totally confused about what was going on.

But Eelstrom's whole tank of electric eels were set free as well!

And they were coming right for C.H.I.P.!

C.H.I.P. swam up for a gulp of air, and I screamed at him to jump into the C.H.I.P.-mobile before he got zapped by the army of angry eels. But then I saw that Dr. Eelstrom had taken refuge in his mini-sub, and he was coming for C.H.I.P. too. And when C.H.I.P. saw him, he decided to stay in the water and fight!

C.H.I.P. swam around the pack of eels and headed right for Eelstrom in his mini-sub. But instead of trying to stop the mini-sub, he swam past it . . . leaving the eels headed right for Eelstrom!

In no time, the doctor's mini-sub was swarmed by electric eels, zapping it all over. This fried the sub's electronics—and Dr. Eelstrom too. "YOW!" he cried as he bemoaned his own beloved eels turning on him.

But as Eelstrom's mini-sub sat dead in the water, the eels once again attacked C.H.I.P., this time with even more anger and ferocity.

Now it was my turn to save the day. I aimed the C.H.I.P.-mobile's Sticky Net Launcher right at the swarm of eels underwater, and I fired. The net caught them all in a flash!

All that was left was to snag the biggest fish, Dr. Eelstrom himself, who had escaped his mini-sub and was trying to swim away to freedom. So I launched the Rope-erang at the evil doctor—and I got him on the first try! I reeled him in, flapping like a salmon, and hauled him up high as my prize catch.

An elated C.H.I.P. swam up and shot out of the water, happily flying over the boat like Free Willy!

Our job finally all done, I quickly changed C.H.I.P. back into Chip, and, right in mid-air, he morphed into the goofy, chubby unlikely hero he truly was.

SPLASH! Chip landed in the water doing the biggest cannonball of all time.

"WA-HOO!" he cheered. "I wanna do that again!" But Chip was actually happy to be done with C.H.I.P. for now. He was ready to just splash around in the newly-fresh lake water like the fun-loving guy he was.

And I was happy staying dry in the C.H.I.P.-mobile, marveling at my impressive catch at the end of the Rope-erang, looking forward to the amazing fish story that was sure to be the headline of tomorrow's Vortville Herald.
