Edited Jack has cornered several CCG agents were all around him. One of the agents said "there is no escape" Jack smiled "you will die!!" Just as he said those words Jack woke up, "wow that was some dream." Jack would have these weird dreams every once and a while, and when it did happen it usually meant something significant would occur at some point. Jack got dressed and heading down the stairs.
"Hey, what's for breakfast mom?"
"it's your favorite, pan-seared flesh with an O+ dipping sauce with a glass of blood flavored coffee" Jack's mom smiled.
Jack loved his mother's cooking. Jack could tell by the sent that the flesh was fresh. "Hey mom, when did ya'll hunt, I can tell by the smell that it is very fresh."
"Right before your father went to work he went hunting, which was about 20 minutes ago."
Jack looked as his mother and asked her something. "Mother, can I go hunting tonight to get dinner for the family?" Jack was not allowed to go hunting very much because he is so young only 11 and had trouble controlling his abilities. Still, he wanted his mother he could hunt.
Jack's mom thought for a moment, she did trust him she was just worried that the CCG would be on the portal. After thinking she reluctantly said "I will talk to your father when he gets home from work. Hey, shouldn't you be at school?"
Jack looked at his mother confused "Mom it's Saturday."
Jack's mom had trouble remembering what day it was sometimes. "Oh, that's right sorry dear."
Jack went over to see if Hayden could hang. Hayden was a ghoul that Jack has known since they were born. He called Hayden and asked to come over on of course he said yes. When Jack got to the door, Hayden greeted him and walked into the house. Jack and Hayden went to Hayden's room to play some Xbox.
"Hey, Hayden you ever wonder what it's like to be human."
"Yea I do sometimes Jack, I don't know why we are hunted like monsters tho. I mean our kind only kills to survive, yes there some of us out there who are true monsters that kill just for the fun of it and are cruel like those ghouls who are rated."
This got Jack mad and it activated his kakugan in both eyes. A kakugan is the influence of activated Rc cells giving ghouls the appearance of there ghoul eyes.

A ghouls kakugan is activated when they are using their kagune, when they chose to activate it themselves or when feeling an intense emotion like Jake is right now.
"You know my dad is a rated ghoul correct?? Which makes him a monster according to you!!!" Jack was getting angrier he sprouted out his fangs and claws. He was gripping Hayden's throat and had him pinned to the wall.
"Jack calm down, bro you know I mean no disrespect to your dad. He and my mom are the best of friends." Jack calmed down his eyes went back to normal and he retracted his fangs and claws back. "Sorry Hayden I didn't mean to get that angry, I have a hard time controlling my anger." "Its ok Jack, I will admit that I am a little jealous that you are a hybrid." "Why it is more of a pain, to be honest."
Hayden started to talk about why he wished he was a hybrid "Jack you have three different Rc types which allow for a range of different attacks. Also because of the healing factor and superior striking power you get with having a rinkaku kagune plus super strength and healing from your vampire side, you are not only stronger than any ghoul but you're like unkillable."
As Jack listened he could not help but feel flattered because everything Hayden said was true. As soon as Hayden was done Jack said: "yes that is all true, but believe it or not my healing does have a limit and about having three kagune types while I do have a range of different attacks it is very hard to control all three of them."
It was getting dark so Jack said bye to Hayden and went home. When he got home Jacks father was there waiting for him. He was not sure if hih father would let him hunt bacause he was so young.
"I understand you would like to hunt young man. Your wish is granted, but it will be supervised. "
Jack was so happy as he screamed: "YESSS THANK YOU, FATHER!!!" Jack and his father headed off. In order to keep their identities a secret Jack's father was wearing his mask. It was a full face mask with a skull that had sharp teeth and horns. Jack's dad was dubbed The Grim Reaper cause of his mask and because of how crazy he can be. Jack was wearing a paper bag because he was not old enough to have a custom mask. Jack saw his target of choice walking down a dark alley.
This was his chance Jack races to his target before a human could even react Jack used his rinkaku kagune to pierce the human in the chest killing him instantly. Jack's rinkaku kagune looked like two red tentacles with a very sharp point. Jack's dad was impressed with his son. "Ok Jack time to put the body in the bag and take it home." That night the Williams family ate freshly hunted meat with a gut paste.
As you see can tell Jack's family is different. Instead of savagely eating their prey, They like to properly season and conceal their food in an orderly fashion.
