The next morning Hayden got up and got a shower, it was 5:30 A.M and everyone was asleep still. Hayden is an early riser and likes to things done. He got his coat and walked to the cemetery to visit his dad's grave. Hayden's dad died when he was 2 so he does not remember much but he still misses him tho.

On his way back to the house he stopped by a coffee shop called Anteiku, they served the best coffee and it was run by ghouls which made Hyden feel safe. When he arrived back at his house his best friend Jack was cooking breakfast "Hey Hayden where were you?"

"I did a morning jog and went to get coffee." "Oh ok then, well breakfast is about to be ready come get a plate."

Hayden enjoyed Jacks cooking it was so exquisite. It was pan-seared flesh seasoned with crushed coffee paste topped with skull salt. After breakfast, the boys decided to get some training in. Standing about 15 feet from one another Jack said "Ok Hayden we are going to battle. The goal is to make your opponent submit, you ready?"

Hayden thought to himself "ok with him having more RC types I am at a disadvantage, but if I time things right then I should win" Hayden looked at him "ready Jack." Jack set a 10-second timer, it counted down and then they were off.

The battle started in close quarters combat, Jack threw a right hook but Hayden knows that's how Jack starts so he countered with a throw. He jumped on his beck and pinned him to the ground "You always start with a right hook Jack it was predictable."

Jack smiled "you got me figured out but, what about this." As Jack was talking he was sneaking his tail behind him and struck him in the back. Hayden screamed as he was thrown across the room but, he quickly regained his composure "nice one Jack but I'm not done yet."

Jack launched his tentacles and Hayden dodged, Hayden used his tail to disable Jack's kagune. Using his tail he grabbed Jack and threw him across the room, Jack got up "well you win, man sometimes I forget how strong you can be."

Hayden smiled and gave Jack a hand "thanks to Jack I have been trying to improve my skills." By the time the boys finished, it was already dark, they ate, showered, and then headed to bed. They wanted to get enough sleep so they would not sleep in class tomorrow.
