The next morning Jack up feeling happy, with his goal almost complete his parents would soon be avenged. Since he was the first one up he started a fire and brewed some coffee. Hayden woke up.

     "Good Morning Jack."

"Morning Hayden, how did you sleep?" Hayden stretched

"Fine, how did it go last night? I'm assuming there were a lot of casualties from looking at your shirt."

Jack looked at his bloodied shirt and laughed not realizing he didn't change last night. "Yea there were many dead bodies by the time I left but, the job was done and a message was sent."

     "Who did you kill?"

"Well, I killed all the bodyguards and Patrick. I fought the CCG director he is very strong. He has great skill I will give him that. He will be a fun opponent when it is time for the final battle."

Hayden's mom woke up and got out of her tent "good morning boys coffee smells great." After coffee, the family packed up the truck and headed home. Andrews however, was talking to the CCG. They arrived that morning they took the director and his wife home and transported their son to the morgue.

The investigators told the director that they were so sorry for his loss. When they got home Jason punched a hole in the wall "Goddammit, mother fucken fang sunken, flesh-eating hybrid!!" The wife tried to comfort him "honey stop please."

He looked at her his face red and tears streaming down his face. "Elena I fail to protect our son. I failed as a father and as a man. I failed, I am so sorry this is my fault. I am the main person who was responsible for the slaughter of the William's. At the time we didn't think about it too much. We were just flowing orders which were to find and kill them. I did not know that by missing the freaks offspring would have caused all this, but I guess should have. All those years he grew and his hatred must have grown and grown until he had the strength to attack. These are revenge killings, he has a list and I'm right on top. He considers this a game and I'm the main boss. Fine, I'll play, the one who is left alive is the winner."

Jack, Hayden, and his mom just got home it was around 11 A.M. Jack went to his room and watched an anime called My hero academia "Hayden come on I'm putting it on." Hayden does not really like anime but, he actually likes this one Jack was really surprised.

     "Yo Jack, you ready?"

     "Duh, my dude lets watch."

Five episodes and an hour later they decide to take a break. "Hey Hayden, I'm going to the basement to train if you do not care?"

     "No problem G."

After fighting with the director Jack knew he would have to hone his kagune skills to kill Jason. He started with his tail, he set up moving targets and he hit them. With a sharp curved blade at the end, he struck the targets with insane speed and precision.

Next, he used his koukou but, it was in a different shape. Normally it was a long straight purple blade that took the place of his right arm. It still took up his whole arm but now it's a long curved blade. He set up targets with armor, he sliced them with ease. "A ghoul can change the way their kagune looks, it is all up to their imagination. They can manipulate their kagune to suit their needs" (Tokyo Ghoul Fandom).

Lastly, Jack practices his rinkaku tentacles. He slashed targets, pierced them, and all the above. After training, he showered and went to the park. Jack loved the park because back when his parents were alive they would always go to the park with Hayden and his family. "Man those were the days," Jack thought to himself. Then all of a sudden Hayden appeared

     "You following me Hayden?"

"No, but when I saw you leave the house the look on your face told me something was up. Is something wrong and don't lie to me I'll be able to tell."

Jack smiled for a brief moment. He has tried to lie to Hayden in the past about things and somehow he was always able to tell if Jack was lying. "I have a lot on my mind right now Hayden. I miss the times when we went to the park without any worry and how we were so hopeful and things were simpler back then."

"Yea I know what you mean, but we can not think to much about the past. It is better to keep moving forward. Come on Jack lets go home."
