Ash is now 16 and has competed in multiple leagues but has failed to win any of them. His most recent attempt in the Unova region was by far his most embarrassing display, losing to a guy that didn't have a full 6 Pokemon team. It was safe to say that he was frustrated and it was time for a change. Ash went into a training regiment that tested the bounds of humans and Pokemon alike. He and Pikachu worked hard everyday, Pikachu practicing his battling skills and Ash lifting logs and running miles building up his stamina and his muscles. X watched all of this from his usual perches like tree branches, in bushes, and when it was dark he would get on the roof and be a lookout. Ash was 16 now and was getting buff, not really ripped or shredded but toned. He came in the house one day and announced to his mom where he was going next. He had met a woman named Alexa in Unova who said that she was from a region called Kalos. Delia didn't want him to go for fear of what might happen to him. X told her that once Ash turned 16 the shadows would return for him. He needed to be ready and his many journeys aided in his development for the fight that was to come but he still needed training. X said he would go to Kalos as well seeing that since the shadows were returning he could protect the boy and girl his enemies all in one shot. Delia agreed and X went outside to a small little space within a rock. He reached in and pulled out two swords, two guns, gauntlets, boots, a cloak, and a mask. It's time to go to war, X thought. Ash packed up his shit in his backpack and Pikachu hopped on his shoulder. He took a taxi to the airport and met up with Alexa and together they caught the flight to Kalos. Before the plane fully took off X ran fast on the runway and with expert stealth hopped onto the wheel as the plane was taking off. About 2 hours later the plane landed. Before it did X jumped out of the cargo hold and used his wings to glide for a smooth landing. He had put on a disguise, a black t-shirt with a reaper riding a chopper through the flames of hell with black jeans and shades to cover his red eyes.

He started walking to the airport when he heard someone yelling.
"HEY KALOS REGION. ASH FROM PALLET TOWN IS FINALLY HERE" Ash yelled.
X shook his head cringing a little but understanding the energy this kid's got after all those years of failure and feeling stronger due to his psychotic exercise regiment. X then heard something and watched as Ash fell down the stairs of the plane and landed square on his ass. X couldn't help but smile. He continued to customs and got his luggage checked. The case that contained his swords got past due to some very special, and completely fake, paperwork that was only made real because of some demon manipulation. He spotted Ash and Alexa and used his enhanced hearing to pick up on what they were saying.
"I just called my sister and she is away on business right now" Alexa said.
"What? What am I supposed to do until then?" Ash asked.
"There is a gym here in Lumiose City that you can challenge while you wait for my sister to get back" Alexa replied.
