Clarke
Me and Bellamy walked for a couple minutes in complete silence, it wasn't a bad silence, i was the kind of silence you need when you have a lot on your mind."What do you think we will find down there?" I asked breaking the silence. He looked over to me and shrugged.
"Hopefully something to protect ourselves against the grounders." He said as he drew out a small hand gun. I took a step back and stopped in my tracks.
"What the heck Bellamy?" I whisper-shouted at him. He stopped not much further from me and rolled his eyes.
"What?" He said a bit annoyed. I narrowed my eyes and furrowed my eyebrows.
"Where did you get that?" I yelled more loudly this time.
"Be quiet, something might hear you." He came over to me and put his hand over my mouth. I pushed his hand off and stepped back.
"Answer my question." I demanded, getting angry at him.
"I did something back on the Ark that they will kill me for. I got this gun from Shumway." He muttered under his breath.
"What did you do?" I asked becoming more scared for him than angry. He looked away and frowned.
"I shot the chancellor." His tone had turned sharp and i was about to interject his thoughts when he beat me to it.
"I really dont need you to give me a lecture on doing good, I rather spend my time looking for this bunker and surviving." He croaked. I nodded, not knowing what else to say.
We continued walking off into the direction of the bunker, this time the silence was awkward and tense.
"Im not mad at you, Bell" I spoke, peering over to him, only to find he was already looking at me.
"Really?" He sounded quite shocked that I wasn't mad at him. I nodded and interlaced our fingers.
"I know you were only trying to protect Octavia." I smiled.
"I didn't just come for Octavia, i came for you too." He added onto my sentence.
"I know but if anything ever happens between Octavia and I, i want you to always choose her." I gave his hand a light squeeze.
"I wont let anything happen to either of you." He said, getting a little irritated at my kindness. I sighed and look back into the darkness.
"Please dont let me get in between you and your sister, she is a lot more important than me." I pleaded with him.
He didn't reply to my comment and i could tell he was deep in thought.
"I don't expect you to say anything right now." I added. He looked over to me and carefully nodded, deciding wether he was doing the right thing or not.
"But... we are here." I said as hope and excitement filled my body. I let go of his hand and rushed over to the bunker door. I squatted down and tried to yank open the door but it was rusted shut.
I looked over to Bellamy whose gun was drawn and scouting the area.
"Its rusted shut, i need a little help!" I breathed out as i tried to pull it open once more. I gave up and waited for Bellamy to come over. He knelt down beside me and grabbed onto the handle bars.
"1...2...3" I huffed and the sound of squeaky metal eradicated the forest. We both stumbled up as the door shook to a stop and we were left staring down into a void of darkness.
I peered over to Bellamy who looked as confused and surprised as i did. He met my gaze and slightly nodded his head, reassuring me he wouldn't be far behind.
