Clarke
after the fiasco with Murphy, Octavia and I headed over to the dropship so we could get checked out. I quickly examined Octavia, seeming as I'm the only trained doctor and then started on stitching my own wound up.
it was a long and agonizing process but it payed off in the end, i managed to do a pretty good job considering we had limited recourses. I asked my friends to wait outside as i knew they wouldn't want to witness this but Bellamy insisted he stay with me. His face kept wincing whenever i groaned in pain or a stich ripped from my leg.
when i had finished, my hands were covered in a deep red blood, same with my pants. I needed to clean them but we had no source of water so my only option was a lake. I snuck out the dropship, leaving Octavia to sleep. I had to leave a different way so i could avoid the buzz of voices.
I left around the back of the dropship, sneaking past trees and bushes. I only knew of one water source but I wasn't walking all way there in my condition. I limped around the outskirts of the clearing, trees that had fallen from our landing created quite a struggle.
I was about to give up and head back to the clearing when i heard a small splashing sound. I followed the sound being wary of any animals. When i came upon the source of the noise, i was blown away.
A clear blue pond surrounded by overgrown grass and flowers was placed ever so perfectly near a waterfall. It drizzled down into the pond, droplets of water spraying off with the impact.
I practically ran to the water, my adrenaline overpowering my pain. I dropped down on my knees and scooped a handful of water into my palms. I brought it up to my face and took a sip of the cold glistening liquid.
My parted my lips in amazement, I've never had anything that tasted so good. It tasted like how I imagined earth to smell, fresh and earthy. I plunged my hands into the pond, rubbing them together as it cleaned off the dried blood. I watched as the water turned a bright red, then vanished into the molecules.
I pulled my pants up next and rubbed a little water over my wound. It stung but felt good. I was about to take my pants of and wash them when a rustling of leaves came from atop the waterfall.
I shot my head up and squinted my eyes, adjusting to the seeping darkness of the trees. My eyes grew wide as i noticed a tall, well built figure standing next to a tree, the shadows overcasting them. I rushed up to my feet, stumbling back a bit. I went to call out to them but a arrow whizzed by my head.
I looked towards the arrow with fear and bolted off towards the camp. I ran as fast as my legs could take me, my breathing became shallow and my legs started aching. I wanted to stop and watch my breath but I didn't know if that thing was following me or not, so i kept going.
I thought we were the only people on earth? I guess others survived the radioactive apocalypse, meaning we aren't alone.
-
I ran into the clearing off busy teens, making them turn their heads towards me. I placed my hands on my knees and started gasping for air."We aren't alone!" I screeched and everyones eyes widened in fear. I turned to see Bellamy and Finn running towards me.
"Where were you?" They both said in sync, causing them to glare at eachother in hatred.
"I-I was at the lake and i saw someone." I managed to breath out through panic-stricken breaths.
"Maybe it was just Murphy or one of his pals." Bellamy said. I stared up at him and shook my head.
"They shot an arrow at me." I heaved. Everyone around me gasped in shock and cries of fear started erupting from the crowd.
Bellamy and Finns faced turned pale, sweat beads slipping down their mattered hair.
"Are you okay? Did they hit you?" Finn asked, placing a hand on my back.
"No, they nearly did." I said, regaining composure. He looked at me in shock and fear.
"What are we going to do to protect ourselves against them?" Some little girl emerged from the crowd.
"We need to build a wall." Bellamy sternly said. Everyone looked at him and muttered in agreement.
"You four, come with me to collect wood. The rest of you get to work on the already collected wood." Bellamy hissed, pointing towards Wells, Atom, Monty and Jasper. They hurried after Bellamy as he stormed off into the woods.
"Im going to go and see O." I whispered to Finn. He nodded and watched as i walked off into the droship.
I climbed up the ladder and pried open the hatch.
"Hey O, you awake?" I gently asked, closing the hatch behind me. When i got no response i turned around and started to panic when Octavia wasn't here.
"Octavia?" I yelled a little louder but i still got no response. I ran back down the ladder and into the huddle of working people. I didn't care who saw me acting like a maniac, i needed to find Octavia.
"Octavia?" I yelled, running around, pushing past people. Everyone started staring at me but all i could focus on was the bright red ribbon hung up on a tree. It was the same one O was wearing when she came down.
I ran up to the ribbon and gripped it in my hands. I looked around for any sign of her but nothing. I dropped to my knees, falling on the floor. Tears streamed down my sweaty, hot cheeks.
"No!" I screamed, my tears choking the words.

Who do you think took Octavia? Lincoln or someone else? Maybe she ran away on her own.
