<Hayes's Pov>

"99 times 435 equals what?" Mr. Martinez asked the class. I sat back in my chair and put my feet on my desk as I text some guys planning a party for tonight. I know the answer but I don't care about this class. Actually I just don't care about anything anymore. When am I going to need any of this in life? The bell rang signaling that it was break.. I got up and walked out of the class. School is bullshit. I don't get the point. I went to the back of the school where I met my friends everyday.

"Want some Hayes?" Garret asked as he handed me flask. I nodded and took a big gulp. I sprayed some mouth spray to mask the smell of alcohol. The bell rang. I didn't want to go to my next class so I wandered the halls. 15 minutes later I made it to class.

"Mr. Grier nice if you to join us.." My teacher said. "As I was saying class You are going to be starting a project based on any history event that you want! But there is one catch I will be assigning you partners." Everyone groaned but I was zoned out at this point so I have no idea what's happening. But Mr. Whatever his name is, is rambling about some gay ass project. This class is the worst. I looked up and saw this girl I've never really talked to look at me. She's hot af!

"Hayes?" The teacher said.

"What do you want?"

"Did you hear what I just said?"

"No!"

"I said you are going to be partnered up with Paige.."

"Alright whatever floats your boat!" He rolled his eyes and went on with whatever it was he was doing. The bell rang and I rushed out of class.

"Hayes!" This girl called my name. It was that really hot girl from class.

"Hey babe!"

"Please don't call me that my names Paige. When should we work on the project?"

"Whenever babe!" I said biting my lip. She rolled her eyes

"How about tonight at your house around 6?"

"Fine by me. Why haven't I seen you before?"

"Umm idk you just never noticed me before we've been going to the same school since you moved here. And we have then next 3 periods together.."

"Oh sorry! well see you later! And my house is right off of the big lake down the street."

"Yea I know! Bye!" I started walking away. There are still 3 periods left but I'm done with this so I ditched. I went home and looked around the house for any beer. I finally found some in my step dads mini fridge in the basement. I took one out and chugged it. I took another one out and chugged it too. After I few minutes my body went numb. I just love this fucking feeling. I went upstairs into my room and blasted my music. I laid in my bed and looked around my room. All my trophies and pictures taunting me of what I used to have but one stupid mistake messed that all up..

<Paige's pov>

Hayes wasn't here for the last 3 periods. I wonder where he was.. Oh well he's a trouble maker. I'm only socializing with him for this project and that's it. I can't believe he doesn't know who I am tho. We have been in the same class since he moved here and we are neighbors.. Oh well anyways he's stupid. I finished the day off and then went home and changed. I threw my hair up into a ponytail and threw on my pants and ugg boots and just kept my 5SOS sweatshirt on. It's winter here and it's 45degrees here right now. I grabbed my phone and it was 5:55 so I walked over to Hayes' house. I rang the door bell and A drunk hayes opened it.
