12 December

10 am; the house

Katarina had taken an uber, she was back at her old home, where their mother was killed. The area radiated enough energy for her to open a Nether portal and reach Nicholas's castle but when she entered the room, she found Capricorn and his men waiting for her. Her heartbeats froze and just as soon as they had stopped, they started racing

"Oh, hello there I have been waiting for you. Give me the stone and I'll be on my way''

"I don't have it'

"My time is precious, don't engage me in a false conversation mortal, the birds have told me where you've been, and your eyes aren't doing a good job in hiding the truth"

'it's true mean I did go to the cavern 'she held his eyes with a strong look as she took out her phone from her back jeans pocket and messaged Mark single handedly. All these years of texting without looking had finally come to use

---Capricorn. Me. House. Help ----

"I couldn't find the stone" her lies were fluent, she tried to think of something to fool him and further added "However I did find something else" she smiled

Mark had said that Capricorn had no knowledge of today's world. She had a plan and she hoped this plan would succeed

She opened her bag and took out something. Turning towards him, she smiled again and spoke "Do you know what this is?"

He looked unsure, a steady raged shift, he turned towards the seven Black knights standing behind him.

"What is this?",

He paused; an angry glare passed through the room.

"What instrument does this girl hold?",

The array of knights; the Black order turned white, empty of any answer.

When he turned back towards her, she could notice a little fear in his fiery eyes, he stared at her,

"I order you mortal" he pointed towards her hands "Tell me, what instrument do you hold?",

She laughed "Oh Sir"

A sly grin spread across her face, "You have been gone too long".

His eyes widened, fire almost escaping from them,

"There is nothing my men can't handle"

Turning to his men "Seize the instrument" his brows furrowed "And kill the girl"

The knights raised their silver glistening swords, Sun the witness of this, reflected its light. They took a synchronized step forward.

She hurriedly stepped back "You don't want to do this,'' she raised her eyebrows.

Capricorn laughed "Is the mortal scared, now" his men remained emotionless.

"Scared for you" she spat back.

"What is the meaning of this",

Confidence returning in her voice "Oh, Mr Capricorn, this is an instrument of torture. It can burn the Black knights and turn their swords and souls into a pile of dust and ashes which will then dance in the fire of this object".All bullshit, she just repeated lines from a movie they'd seen last niight

Hushed whispers could be heard amongst the knights,

"It can't be the Salthazar",

"She must be joking",

"Is it the Saltha-"

"Silence" Capricorn's voice echoed in the room, shattering their whispers.

"So" honestly Katarina had no idea what Salthazar was but she decided to play along.

"Bow down or face the wrath of the Salthazar" she called out

Silence shuddered in the room. Before Capricorn could reply, her bedroom door broke open.

"Hands up" said the man in white,

"Gosh" she thanked the gods. Mark for the first time had arrived on time and damn, he was fast. 5 minutes she was impressed. Lucky, the headquarters were close by and they had kinda brought an army. Neat!

Puzzled, he looked at her hands and gave her a What-The-Hell-Are-You-Holding- Look.

Relieved, she put a hand on her chest which pumped at the speed of light.

"Thank you, god," she whispered and thank god indeed for she did not know how much longer she could hold Capricorn and his men with a Hairbrush.
