"Mark and Donghyuck's funerals were basic. People cried, people grieved. It was just like ever other funeral."
"And how did you feel Jisung?"
"I didn't feel sad, I didn't feel anything really. They were in those caskets because of me, those people were weeping because of me and I didn't feel anything," Jisung explains.
"How do you feel now," Dr. Kim asks. Jisung thinks for a second before answering.
"Confused," he responds honestly.
"And why is that?"
"I killed them and I know that it's wrong but I don't regret my actions," he tries to explains. A slight smile forms on Dr. Kim's face.
"Why are you smiling?"
"Because Jisung, you are learning. You are learning that your previous actions were wrong and that's something I wanted you to learn," Dr. Kim responds, his smile encouraging and warm.
Jisung leaves the therapy appointment more confused than ever. Was he getting better? Did he want to get better?
