"Jaemin, I-I need to tell you something," the older says, looking nervously at the younger.
"Yeah, what is it," Jaemin asks, taking a seat on the bed.
"Jaemin, I know you're still getting over Renjun but I-I like you. I like you a lot but I understand if you don't feel the same or if you don't want to rush. I just can't keep this in anymore."
Jaemin remains silent for a moment, taking in the information. If he was shocked, it didn't show.
"Um...I don't know if I'm ready..."
The elder frowned.
"But we can discuss this more over a cup of coffee," Jaemin says and the smile could be heard in his voice.
I stand outside the door, tears streaming down my face as my blood begins to boil.
Moments later the two boys come to the door, causing me to take a step back.
"Oh hey Jisung," Jaemin says with a smile. I keep my eyes on the ground, refusing to let him see me cry.
"Hey," I respond somberly. I couldn't see Jaemin's face but I assume he didn't care.
"I'm sorry we can't hang out today. Jeno and I are going out for coffee. I would invite you but we have something very personal to talk about," Jaemin explains. I nod my head sadly.
They walk past me without saying another word. I look up at Jeno, who looked amused. He shoves my shoulder and walks over to Jaemin. I tense as I ball my fists.
Lee Jeno just messed with the wrong person.
