I haven't updated this in a while, due to my crushing studies and one-sided relationships I'm going through right now.... I'm sorry.

Today is a beautiful day. Sun's shining, Eli is not here, birds are chirping, Elise is here..... Perfect. I can tell that Max has noticed too, because she's whispering cautiously to Penny, who's winking at me. God, they're so weird. Finally, after much hushed whispering from across the dining hall, they walk up to me at the kitchen, where Penny pitches an idea. "Today is the perfect day to unhatch our plan. According to a text from Maxine's phone, Eli 'harvesting crops' until 11:30 tonight. Lemme just say from this information we can assume he's harvesting someone else's crops, if you get my metaphor."
"EWW!" I yell, and Elise walks over.
"Is something the problem?"
"Yes! Indeed there is," I answer, and Maxine shoots me a worried look.
"Penny needs to stop telling other people about her YouTuber fanfiction fetishes, think about the children!" Max sighs softly, and Elise face twists in an abnormal way.
"TMI, Pen. Keep it to yourself." She walks away in a hurry, giggling softly to herself, before we can talk more about it.
"I agree with Penny. We need to do it soon, at least."
"Fine," I say in defeat, as Max and Penny high-five each other.

-No one's POV-
The cabin was mostly quiet before preparing for activities. Most of the girls, Like Georgia and Marie, were changing into bathing suits or close-toed shoes. But Jamie was talking to Hals, and her arm was wrapped around her when Penny walked past them. You could see the envy and anger in her eyes as she shot a quick glare to Jamie, flashed a smile to Hals, and walked past. Then again, you could also see the regret and guilt in Jamie's as it seemed as she was caught. She quickly relinquishes her grasp to Hals, and races after Penny. "Hey Penny! We haven't hung out in a while since that night, and I was wondering if I had-"
"Done anything wrong? No! Because Jamie Black does no wrong! I've been busy Jamie, and it seems as you have been too." Penny pushes up her glasses, and sorts through the stuff in her backpack. Jamie's is looking for words while Penny climbs up the ladder to her top bunk. "NO Penny, it's nothing like that! God no! Hals is just a friend!"
Penny frowns, looking down at Jamie. "I thought you liked me Jamie. I really did." Jamie races up the ladder to Penny. "Can I sit?"
"Y-yes."
Jamie then crawls onto the bed and hugs Penny. "I'd never do that to you. They're nothing compared to you."
"HEY!" Marie yells from below, but Jamie's shushes her. "We're having a moment here!"
"You're special, in your own way and to me." Penny smiles, and hugs Jamie back.
-------------------
As they walk in, Jamie sits in the back,
and Penny sits in the front. Jamie's face turns from a smile to a frown instantly as she sees how far apart they are.
"Alright kids, let's learn how to wood whittle." Max claps her hands together as most of the kids groan in the class, except for Penny and Jamie. Penny's actually listening to the instructions, while Jamie's fixated on Penny.
"Now, since whittling can go in many ways wrong, we will be taking serious precautions since last time they weren't serious enough and well, Sarah Farring is now in the infirmary. Moving on!"
