Nandini jumped on me to hug me as soon as we entered our room bidding bye to everyone.
"Stop jumping so much, your injuries aren't healed entirely" I said hugging her back.
"This is the best birthday ever,
Thank you so so so much" She said excitedly kissing my cheek.
"Of course, special people deserve special birthdays" I said parting away from her.
"Let's change now, It's late kal pooja hogi na as a tradition yahan pe for my birthday" She said walking towards her wardrobe while I sat on the bed.
"Yaa,kal bhi jaldiii uthna hoga
Mein nai uthne wala" I said being irritated at even the thought of waking up early.
I rested my head on headrest with legs on bed when I heard her coming out of the washroom.
Suddenly I felt some weight on my legs and opened my eyes only to see her sitting in my lap.
"Malhotra jii" She said coming closer to my face biting her lip.
"Jii" I said with equal husk in my voice rubbing my nose to hers.
"Apni biwi ke liye,
Itna bhi nahi kar sakte?!" She said tracing her nose on my cheek.
I knew she was talking about me not waking up early thing.
"Apni biwi ke liye bohot kuch kar sakta huh mein,dekhna chahengi aap" I said wrapping my hands around her waist pulling her closer to me.
She wrapped her hands around my neck.
I leaned forward towards her lips and she looked at me only to smile and then closed her eyes leaning towards me.
I knew she was tired today.
But she wouldn't say it.
I pecked on her lips gently and pulled her into a hug.
She obviously looked baffled.
"Kal subah jaldi uthna hai na,
Toh abhi jaldi sona hoga na" I said but she knew I stopped because she was tired.
She pulled out of the hug and got up from my lap only to sleep beside me.
"I'm not tired" She said cutely turning to the other side and I knew,she knew.
I let out a laugh and just leaned forward towards her cheek and kissed it from the back.
Madam was already asleep and keh rhi thi tired nahi huh.
"I love you" I whispered in her ears and got up to change my clothes as well.
It was going to be a long day tomorrow.

"Uthiye na Manik" I said for the hundredth time but he didn't even move.
"Mujhe nahi uthna hai,
Tum jao" Finally he said.
Uffff,
Yeh aur inke nakhre.
"Kyun chote bacho jaisa behave kar rhe ho Manik,chaliye na,
Meri birthday ke liye pooja hai aur aapko nai aana" I said a little acting a little disappointed.
Keyword-Acting.
He still didn't move.
I sighed.
"Please uthiye na,
Mere liye,
Bus thodi der phir aake so jana" I said half sleeping with him back hugging him keeping my cheek on his head.
He turned around and took me in his arms.
"Sorry,
Tumhari birthday par bhi tumhe pareshaan kar raha huh" He said kissing my forehead.
We both got up and I twirled around showing him my clothes.
"Kaisi lag rhi huh" I asked.
He leaned forward and took some kajal from my eyes only to put it behind my ear.
And I fell for him all over again.
"Bohot pretty" He said caressing my cheek and then went to the washroom.

I saw Nandini running here and there even when she was wearing heels seeing if everyone's had prasad or not.
"Careful Nandini" I shouted nth time and she didn't care,as usual.
I was sitting with the rest of the men discussing the party at night.
It was going to be a close knit party with just our families and friends.
That's how she likes her parties and I knew it.
"Thak gayi,huhhhh" Finally Nandini came wrapping her hands around my neck from the back as I was sitting on the chair.
"Itna daudne ki kya zarurat thi yahan se wahan,wahan se yahan" I said wrapping my hands around hers.
"Chalo beta,
Hum nikalte hai abb,
See you at night" Papa said and they all left.
Soon all of them left and Mom,Dad also had some work so they left too.
We also went to our room.
"Chaliye manik,
So jaiye abb aap" Nandini said removing her earrings in front of the mirror.
"Come here" I said sitting on the bed forwarding my hand towards her.
She came towards me and I made her sit on my lap and starting removing her other earring.
"Tum puri tarah se heal nahi huyi ho abhi,
Kahi pain huaa aaj" I asked.
After removing her earrings I wrapped my hands around her waist.
"Nahin,agar hoga toh aapko pakka bataungi" She said and we touched our foreheads together.
My hand reached towards the zip of her dress.
I pulled it down and moved my hand lazily on her back.
"Man..nik" She moaned and it just charged me up more.
I flipped our positions and next two hours were nothing but pure bliss.
