PS: wrote this story years back, it's cheesy,cringe and cliche in every way! Writing is juvenile and childish too. But not guilty! This is the first story I wrote so it'll alwayssssss be special ✨

"akeli kyun aai ha, Kuch ho jata toh" Manik said hugging Nandini to his dear life.
"Kuch nai hota" Nandini said breaking the hug and taking out clothes from brief case as they came to the room.
"Wahan waise bhi ghutton hoti hai aapke bina" She added.
Manik laughed and gave her a peck on the head and went to the washroom.
"I'll make this day special for you Mr.Malhotra" Nandini said to herself.

I entered the washroom and saw the mirror which left me spellbounded.
Nandini is so cute man!

When did she even do this! I read everything and clicked a photo of it!
I went into the room immediately only to see it empty.
Navya ke room mein gayi hogi shayad.
I then went to take a bath.

Nandini called me into the garden for some reason.
I don't know what's cooking into her head. She's stressing herself too much.
I entered the garden and a small guy came to me.
"Manik Malhotra?!" he asked me.
I bent down to his level and ruffled his hair.
"Yes baby" I answered him.
"Nandini Malhotra told me to give this to you" He said and handed me an envelope.
I opened the envelope and laughed at what was written in it.

I ruffled my hair blushing now.
I went more into the garden and saw it all decorated.
My and Nandini's pictures were hanged all around.
I admired them when another baby girl came to me and handed me a card.

I read it and laughed.
"Nandini!" I called for her.
"I've always believed in the concept of fairytales" Came Nandini's voice from mic.
I looked everywhere but couldn't see her.
"Alot of people came and told me that Nandini you really think prince charming still exists!" Came her voice again.
I stood there with a smile on my face.
"I was certain that there is my knight in shining armor somewhere in some world,but I never thought it'll be you,The Manik Malhotra" She continued.
I smiled nodding at it, There is no THE. I'm a normal human blessed to be loved by her.
"When I first saw you,in front of me! Everything seemed to stop around me, because before being anything else to you, I'm your fangirl I'm the part of the Manik Malhotra fandom" She said and I said a never ending smile on my face.
"Like every other girl,I had your posters in my room,your photo as my wallpaper,you as my dps everywhere,I never thought that I'll also have you in my life" She said and I was feeling nothing but blessed.
"Marrying you is the best damn decision I've ever made,some people are worth melting for" She said and I smiled more and more.
"We're just one year down but past one year has been the best year of life and here's to alot more years of us having fun together" She said and I nodded smiling widest.
"I know I've been troubling you alot with my tantrums the entire time and you've been the best husband by tolerating it" She said and I nodded in a no.
"You always wanted me to sing for you but I never did,or maybe sometimes if I did it wasn't for you" She said.
"Here's a song for you Manik Malhotra" Said 5 other people suddenly.
It was Navya and fab5.
I turned to them and saw them with musical instruments.
"Dil ka dariya, Beh hi gaya" came a voice.
My favourite song, This girl!
"Raah mein yu jo, Tu mil gaya" she sang further and I could finally see her walking towards me from the end of the garden.
I could suddenly feel my eyes water. How did I get so lucky.
My wife and my friends, My family doing so much for me.
Nandini was wearing heels and she tripped a bit and my hands immediately extended as if trying to hold her evem if she was away.
"Mushkil se mein, Sambhli thi haa"
She said and the situation fit the lyrics so well.
"Toot gayi huh, Phir ik dafa"
She sang while coming towards me. As she was coming closer I could see tears in her eyes as well.
"Baat dil ki nazaro ne ki, Sach keh rhi,teri kasam"
She said pinching her throat as if taking a kasam.
"Tere bin ab na lenge ek bhi dum, Tujhe kitna kitna chahne lage hum"
She sang and finally we were face to face. She covered her face with both her hands as her voice cracked a bit. She felt embarrassed. Oh baby.
"Tere saath ho jayenge khatam, Tujhe kitna chahne lage hum"
I sang taking those hands off her face. And she smiled being embarrassed.
And my friends started playing instruments and we hugged each other.
Suddenly flowers started falling on us.
I broke the hug with my hands still on her waist.
"I love you so much, Happy anniversary Mr.Malhotra" She said and kissed my cheeks.
"I love you too Mrs.Malhotra" I said.
And suddenly I saw the sky and there were stars all around as it was night.
I looked at the stars and so did she.

Suddenly she looked more beautiful then the stars did.
And I realized that this monster has found his star❤️
