As per my promise to Nandini I had brought her to doctor.
Each word that doctor said pierced in my ears like 1000s of bullets being shot at me,all at a time.
I couldn't even imagine what she must be going through.
"Don't lose hope darling, there's always a second time" Doctor told Nandini.
I looked at her and she was looking down.
We left doctor's clinic.
The whole way from doctor's clinic to our house,she was just quiet.
I had told all this our family yesterday when Nandini was sleeping.
Both our parents were out of station and Fab5 chose to give us alone time to cope up with this.
We reached home.
Nandini walked out first and I went behind her.
"Mujhe akela rehna hai thodi der" She said which was barely audible.
"Okay" I said.
"Lekin promise me ki you won't hurt yourself,hmm?!" I asked.
She nodded.
She already had tears in her eyes and I knew she'll cry as soon as she goes to her room.
I didn't want her to cry alone.
But I knew she needed some time.
So I let her go.
I went and sat on one of the benches of our garden.
It was already evening.

Whenever this world has failed me,
Music has always come to my rescue.
I was listening to flawless by neighborhood,
And that's the problem with us humans.
Whenever we're sad we listen to sad songs and end up being even more sad.
That's exactly what was happening to me.
"I love you" Suddenly came a voice.
It didn't take a second for me to guess who it was.
"Mein apne pain mein itna kho gyi ki aap pe dhyaan hi nai diya" It was Nandini, obviously.
She sat on my lap and I joined my forehead with hers.
"I love you too" I said and kissed her forehead.
"How's this baby now?!" I said as she kept her head on my chest.
"Fine" She said.
"Never knew you could lie so well" I said and sighed.
She wasn't fine obviously.
"Akela kyun rehna hota hai tumhe humesha haa,
Mujhe kitni tension ho jati hai pata hai" I complained and she smiled.
"Sorry,abb nai bolungi kabhi ki akela chodo mujhe" She said staring at the sunset.
"Hmm,good girl" I said and kissed her hand which was entwined with mine.

"Yaa yaa,fine" Nandini said as I was sitting balcony sipping my coffee and she was talking to fab5 on video call.
Cabir being the friend slash brother that he is was way too stressed about how Nandini is now.
They were all telling her to be fine and not cry and be strong.
I saw hee smiling while talking to them and went to washroom.
As I went in I heard her saying byee to them.
I then went to take a bath.
I heard my phone ring but then it stopped so I figured that Nandini picked it up.

I was sitting in the balcony as it is my favourite place and Nandini was downstairs instructing kaka about things to be done as Mom,Dad were coming back tomorrow.
I looked for my phone but couldn't find it and again heard it ring.
I saw Nandini in the garden talking on it so I figured she has my phone.
I went downstairs and saw her standing still facing her back towards me with my phone on the grass.
I figured it fell.
Shit,
Did she again become upset about this thing.
Maybe the thing hit her again.
I composed myself and backhugged her.
"How's my baby?!" I asked with all the love I had as I didn't want her to cry anymore thinking about pregnancy thing.
"Which one?!" She asked.
Wait what!
Did she just.
Fuck.
I immediately picked up my phone and saw whose call it was.
It was the doctor.
"Jo reports doctor ne aapko di jiske baare mein woh aaj baat kar rhe the,
Woh humari report nai thi" Nandini said and yes.
My heart was beating again.
I saw Nandini smile properly after two days.
I immediately gathered her in my arms.
"We still have the baby" I said making myself believe that.
And she laughed.
Finalllyyyyyyy.
"Isliye I asked ki which baby are you talking about" She said breaking the hug wrapping her hands around my neck.
"The big one" I said and wrapped my arms around her waist joining our foreheads together.
It feels surreal.
