Spring break day 3:
"Hey, so I know you and Ethan are cool now but I think you should tell Beck that she's dating your boyfriend's twin brother." Lucy came into our shared room. "I know I know. I just dont want something to happen and one of us break up." I laid back on the bed and Lucy threw a pillow at me. "She deserves to know! And I'm sure she'll understand."

"Who will understand what?" Beck walked in and sat on the bed with us. "Gracey has to tell you something." Lucy ran out and shut the door. "Rebecca." I said. "Ok dont call me that. You only say that when you have bad or upsetting news." She laughed nervously. "Its nothing bad. Just kinda...weird." She nodded as if telling me to continue. I pulled out my phone and showed her a picture of me and Grayson on one of our dates and he was kissing me cheek.

"I-Is that Ethan? You and him dated? Am I breaking girl code?!" She started to panic. "No no no. That not Ethan. Thats his twin brother. Who also happens to be my boyfriend. We've been dating since school started." Her eyes widened. "We're gonna be sister in-laws!!! She jumped up and hugged me. "Theres more. Before this trip Ethan HATED me." She gasped. "What?? Why??" Worry spread all over her face.

"Grayson, Ethan's twin-" She cut me off. "Yeah we met. I've met his whole family." She smiled. "Well then you know Gray is an English teacher....at my school...and he's MY English teacher." Her smile fell. "You're dating your English teacher?" She asked trying to understand. "Yeah. It just kinda happened. And Ethan hated me because he didn't approve but we worked through it and he says as long as we're both happy."

She stayed silent. "Beck..." "Gracey do you realize that if anyone found out that he could not only lose his job but also his teaching liscense?" I nodded. "You are putting his whole career on the line! I've talked to Grayson and about him teaching. He loves it! And you are risking that for him." I stopped to think. "I know, but-" She cut me off. "No, you don't know. Gracey you can't be with him."

My eyes filled with tears. I can't believe this. My best friend is telling me to break up with the love of my life. "Beck, you don't understand. Me and him have talked about this. Many times. For hours." She sighed. "Maybe you need to talk more." Beck got up and walked out.

I looked at the time, 12:30 pm. I sighed. Maybe I should just go. Have a couple days to myself. Lucy informed me they were all gonna go have a picnic on the beach. "I'm gonna sit this one out." I smiled and she left with the others. I packed all of my things and ordered an Uber to take me to Lucy's place. I got in my car amd drove home. On my way I decided to call Gray.

"Hello?" "Grayson..." My voice cracked. "Baby, what happened?" His voice filled with concern and tears ran down my face. "Can I come over?" "Of course."

I hung up and I was about 30 minutes from his apartment.

I parked and got out, leaving my phone in my purse which was on the passenger floor board. I knocked on the door and Grayson appeared wearing a black long sleeve and grey sweats. He pulled me into a hug and I broke into tears. He walked us over to the couch and pulled me on his lap and held me. I wiped my face and sat up. "You ready to talk?" He asked.

I shook my head. "Ok." He got up and walked into the kitchen. He came back in with a plastic cup with Minions on it. "Here, you need water." I drank all of it and set the cup on the coffee table. "Ok. So Ethan's girlfriend is Beck. My best friend since preschool. Well when Ethan got there he wouldn't even look at me-"

He cut me off. "Ethan is the reason you're upset?" I could see him getting angry. "No just listen." He grabbed my hand and interlocked our fingers. "So we stopped at a gas station and when Beck and Lucy got out he started shouting and then wouldn't talk to me. Well when we got to the beach house I told Lucy everything. About me and you and about why Ethan hated me-" He cut me off again. "Baby he doesn't hate you." Grayson kissed my forehead. "Baby. Listen. I'm not upset because of Ethan."

"Ok ok sorry." He nodded, telling me to continue. "Well we all went to the beach and Ethan was apologizing and we worked it out and he doesn't hate me anymore so we're good. Well Lucy thought I should tell Beck about it all since she's my best friend and E is her boyfriend. So this morning I told her. I told her everything. And I thought she would be happy but she kept saying we should break up and how I'm ruining your career and its my fault if you lose your job." I started crying again.

He pulled me on top of his lap and held me. "Baby none of that will happen. And if there is a slight chance it does, its not your fault. I'm sorry she said all of that. I really am." He kissed the top of my head.

Grayson's POV:
I held Gracey until she stopped crying. Eventually she fell asleep. I carried her to my room and changed her out of her jeans and shirt and put one of mine on her. I turned off the lights and laid next to her.

I can't believe Rebecca would say that to her. Our relationship is none of her business. "Gray?" I heard Gracey say. "Shh go back to sleep love." She turned on her side and pulled my arm across her body. I kissed her shoulder. And we both fell asleep.

Lucy's POV:
"Gracey?" I shouted walking into the house. "Graaaaccceeyyyy!!!!!!" She didn't respond. I looked in our room and saw a note on the pillow and all of her stuff missing.

Lucy,
Sorry for leaving without telling you. I just needed to see Grayson. Something happened with me and Beck. - Gracey

What did she do...

"REBECCAAAA!!!!!! GET YOUR ASS IN HERE!!!!" I screamed. She ran in the room and I threw the cardstock paper at her. "What is this?" She read it and shrugged. "What did you do?" She explained to me how she felt about Gracey being with Grayson. "Ok I get that but they have been together for almost a year. You don't think they might have discussed all of that? And its their relationship!!!"

She looked at the ground. "Who's relationship?" Ethan walked in. "Your twin brother's." "What happened?" He asked concerned. "And where is Gracey?"

"You might wanna ask your girlfriend."
