Mr. Dolan

I woke up to my alarm blaring. Oh shit I have school today! I checked the time and it was already 9:30. I had 3 missed calls from Grayson, 6 from my mom, and 5 from Jess. I called Gray since its only 2nd period and thats his planning period.

"Hello?" "Hey." "Hey. Um I'm with another teacher right now. I'll call you back." "Uh, yeah, ok. Bye." "Alright bye!" He hung up as soon as he said bye. Maybe I should go to school. I put my clothes back on, grabbed my keys and slung my bag over my shoulder. I walked out of the room and gave the lady at the front office my room key.

I drove home and there were no cars in the driveway.

I unlocked the door and walked in. The house was quiet and seemed to be empty. I walked up to my room but I was stopped by my name being called. "Gracey?" I turned to my sister. "Hi." I said awkwardly.

"Where the hell have you been?! Why didn't you take me with you?!" She raised her voice. "Im so sorry. I would've but I was so mad. She hugged me. "I was scared. Mom was yelling at him and they were arguing."

"Im sorry. Why aren't you at school?" I asked. "Mom left early and he left in the middle of the night." She shrugged. "Well I'm changing then going to school." "I'll come with."

I took a quick shower then threw on jean shorts and a white T-shirt with a pocket on the front, I didn't bother putting makeup on. I slipped on black Converse and grabbed my bag and keys and met Jess at my car. I drove off to school and got there around 10:30.

I walked to the office and signed Jess and myself in and we walked to class. I walked to my 3rd period class and everyone turned to me as I entered through the door. I gave the teacher my tardy slip and sat down.

Fifth period

5th period rolled around, but before I could walk in the assistant principal approached me. "Gracey we need to see you in the office." He said. "Alright lemme tell Ms. Woods." I opened the door and called her name. "Hey Ms. Woods I gotta go to the office." She nodded and started taking roll.

I walked into the office and sat down in the chairs in front of the principals desk. He walked in and sat down. "You needed me?" "Yes. Ok we're not saying any of it is true but there are rumors and we just need to make sure they're not true, now-" I cut him off. "Wait wait, what rumors are you talking about?" I asked confused. "They're are rumors that you are sexually involved with Mr. Dolan." My eyes widened. "And you believe these rumors? Just some stupid shit that dumbass teenagers are making up?" I stood up.

"First of all watch your mouth, second of all we were just clearing it up, and telling you the consequences." As he said that Grayson walked in. He sat in the chair next to me. "Now Gracey, Mr. Dolan there are rumors around school that you two are involved with each other." Mr. Greene said. "Is any of this true?" We both shook our heads. "Mr. Greene this is insane! I dont even know Mr. Dolan's first name!"

Mr. Greene rolled his eyes. "The only time I've ever seen him outside of school was when some of my friends ditched me at the mall and he offered to drive me home. Oh and I saw him at Chick-fil-A one time." I sat back down.

"Gracey, we just have to confirm that it's not true. Now if anything like this were to happen, Gracey you would be expelled and Mr. Dolan would unfortunately lose his job." We both nodded. "Now that we all understand and have everything cleared up, you may return to your class Mr. Dolan."

   Grayson walked out and I was told to sit. "Gracey why is this such a big deal if they're just rumors?" He asked. "Because I'm basically being called a whore. I've heard it before too. No offense Mr. Greene but you're not a teenage girl. Being called a slut and a whore is like being stabbed in the chest." I started to fake cry a little. "Ok ok, go back to class." I walked out and wiped my face, laughing a bit.
