Layla's POV
Tamara and I trained all morning long. I got an update from Ash about our pack. Demi and Devon had arrived in Jimboomba a couple of days ago and settled in.
"Let's go and get some lunch." Tamara finally stopped and shifted into her human form. I nodded my big furry head and walked behind a large tree to shift and dress.
"I'm starving." I complained. "Hey, have you had any rouge attack as of late?" It hadn't occurred to me that because my evil father is dead that every rouge attack would cease.
"Yes just before you showed up. The one thing that was off was that they were unorganised and without a leader." I wondered if my father or the Rouge King had organised the attacks. Well both of them are not walking around.
"Well the Rouge King is locked up in Townsville and his Beta is dead. I'm thinking that they haven't been trained properly and that it was preplanned. Each of the attacks were meant for each element pack." I stood still and focused on my spirit powers. I reached out and got a feel of everyone's aura. The three different ones I felt gave me a nauseous swell in my stomach. They must have taken in some of the rouges. They have evil auras around them.
-Josh?- I linked my brother.
-Yes, sis?- I heard his voice respond.
-Can you keep an eye on those female rogues? I have a bad feeling about them.- I thought to him.
-Sure. It's weird that the youngest has shifted and she isn't of age.-
-Watch their eyes, red ones mean they are possessed and you need to kill them like you did with father.- I warned Josh.
-Yes, Luna.- Josh cut our connection.
"Hey, are you okay?" Tam asked, concerned laced her voice.
"It seems off. I have felt a rouges aura but these auras are mega different. Evil somehow. My father, the old beta of my pack, went rouge and was possessed by a demon. Their eyes glow red when the demon is in control." I explained to Tam.
"I saw one of the rouges' eyes glow red for a second then it was gone. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. Now I know." Tam and I hurried back to the pack house to talk to these rouge.
-Ash, round up the rouge in the pack and take them to the cells with Jordan.- I quickly linked Ash.
-Okay. Explain later.- Ash knew I was in a hurry. I pulled out my phone and called Jay.
"Hello, Jay speaking." Devon's beta answered.
"Jay, it's Layla. Do you have any rouges that you took in from a recent attack?" I rushed out.
"Yes, why?"
"They are possessed. Lock them up with the Rouge King." I all but yelled.
"Okay, thanks. Bye."
"Bye." We hung up. Tamara and I entered the house and headed towards the cells.
"Luna Tamara, you can't go down there." One of the guards told us.
"Like hell. Move." Tamara demanded but the wolf didn't move. I moved my hand in a circular motion and the air picked up and moved the shocked guard. He tried to move back into place but I quickly put up a wall of fire between him and the door.
"Who do you think you are?" He shouted at me.
"The Major Elemental thank you." I smiled at the raging wolf. Nonetheless, he let us through. We rushed down the stairs and passed empty cells. I spotted a certain dark-haired mate. I walked up beside him and wrapped my arm around his waist. Three wolves at in front of us chained in silver against metal chairs.
"Who sent you?" I spoke up to make the rouges jump.
"That's none of your business." A male hissed through clenched teeth.
"Oh is that right? Well, you group is spread out in other packs. I want to know who is your leader." My gone was menacingly calm.
"Dean Thomas. He was in charge of the attacks but he is dead. The Major Elemental and her family killed him. You are to late to get him." He sneered.
"I know he is dead. My brother and sister helped me kill him." I watched all three mouths drop.
"You're the Major Elemental?" Their eyes started glowing red as the demons started to surface. I lifted my shirt to show them my tattoos. The female smirked at me.Where is the spirit mark?" Her voice was scratchy. I turned around and held my hair to the side showing them the newest tattoo that I found this morning. I heard the chairs scrape along the concrete as the demons struggled against the chairs that weaken their hosts.
"Kill them!" I heard Jordan yell as I walked out and up the stairs. I wanted my lunch now and I was going to get whether they like it or not.
