Layla's POV

I sat down at the breakfast bench, looking around for something to eat. I was about to grab an apple when a young female wolf entered the kitchen.

"What would you like for lunch?" She asked politely.

"Something yummy, please. I haven't eaten since last night." I was starving. The female nodded her head and got set to make my lunch.

"I'm Layla by the way." I introduced myself.

"I know who you are. Alpha Ash is your mate. You're the Major Elemental Wolf. I'm Leah." She wasn't rude she just sounded uninterested in who I was.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Leah."

"You're a long way from home right?" Leah suddenly asked.

"Yes, just under three hours away." I answered.

"Do you have any siblings?"

"Yes. My oldest brother Josh and my twin Ruby. Why?" I questioned her. Why is Leah so interested in my life now?

"Whoa. I'm an only child and mateless." Was that a hint?

"They both have mates." I stated.

"Do you treat your omegas as slaves?"

"No. From what I know omegas have the same rank as a regular wolf. If you wish to join our pack you are welcome." Leah finished making my lunch and placed it in front of me. Three turkey, cheese and mayo sandwiches.

-Layla? Where are you?- Ash linked me

-Where ever you find food.- I linked back annoying him. A few minutes later Ash entered the kitchen dismissing Leah. I gave her a promising smile.

"Hey. Can we save someone?" I asked quietly.

"Who?" He asked a little guarded.

"That young girl. I got good vibes from her. Omegas here are treated like slaves. She asked to join our pack. I promised that I would talk to you." I gave Ash my best puppy dog eyes and won him over.

"I'll talk to Jordan. I don't want to step on any toes." Well, it's better than a flat no. I finished my lunch and washed my plate up.

"Are you the new help around here? Make me a sandwich woman." A male wolf around Ash's age walked in with a smirk plastered to his face.

-I'll deal with this. I'll meet you in our room. I love you.- I linked Ash.

-Be careful. I love you too.- Ash left me on my own to handle this idiot.

"Did you not hear me? I want a damn sandwich." He yelled at me.

"I heard ya. Thing is I am not making it. Get off your lazy a$$ and do it yourself." I looked at him a gave him a cold glare. He stood up and walked into the kitchen.

"How dare you talk to me like that. You are lower than me. Submit." I could feel his feeble attempts to make my wolf submit. I laughed at him and his eyes narrowed even more. He raised his hand to hit me. I held my hand up and his eyes widened. He tried to move his hand.

"What the hell?" I walked up to him, closing the space between us.

"Don't you ever speak to me like again." I was calm but my words cut through him like butter.

"I'm so sorry Luna Layla, I didn't realise it was you." He was quick to get his words out.

"You made my Alpha mad." With that said, I walked off following Ash's scent up the stairs and through a door. I could hear giggling coming from inside. There was a second scent. I slowly opened the door to find Ash chained to the bed with his pants around his ankles. If it was just Ash I would be aroused but a she-wolf did this. I signaled Ash to stay quiet. I quickly created an air barrier around the bed. I heard them inside the bathroom. I sent a magical link to Tamara to come to me. She arrived minutes later. We waited for the girl to emerge from the bathroom. The blonde one walked over to Ash with what was meant to be a look of seduction. Tamara was ropable. I gave her a warning look. She maybe Luna but her wolf also bows to me because I'm the Major Elemental Wolf. Blondie just ran into my barrier.

"What the f@&k is this?" She squeaked loudly. I watched her foolishly try to get through my barrier. I gave my wrist a slight twist and the air picked up into a breeze then a full-blown wind attack. I let the wind die down before Tam and I stood up from our hiding spot. I flicked my wrist and the chains snapped freeing Ash. Tam never once looked his way. The blonde gasped and squealed when she spotted us.

"You don't belong with him, Little Omega!" Did Blondie just insult me?

"I am a sister of the Beta. Dean Thomas was the former Beta. I am of Beta blood, don't insult me again. If I was not meant to be with Ash, the Moon Goddess wouldn't have made us mates. Get over it and get out of my room!" My tone was loud and deadly.

"Pack your shìt. You are banished from the Blue Moon Pack." An alpha voice rattled around the room. Jordan was standing at the door.

"Ash, Layla. We do apologise about that. We have never had this problem before. You leave tomorrow, right? Well, Tam and I will leave tomorrow with some fighters." Said Jordan.

"Thank you. I should keep Ash in my sights from now on. We will leave for Brisbane tomorrow so we will see you in a few days. We have to check in on our pack. The royal family was going to send some warriors and trainers down." I informed Jordan. I hugged Tamara.

"I don't know how long you will be in a Blood Moon territory but pack for a while." They left our room so I could talk with Ash.

"Are you okay Ash?" I know it was a stupid question but I had to ask it.

"I was just laying on the bed when she attacked me. She injected me with something. I couldn't connect with Timbre nor could I link with you. Believe me, I tried" Ash started crying. I pulled him closer to me and let him cry while I comforting. Tam told us dinner was ready. I just asked Leah to get our dinner. She placed the two plates on the bedside and left. We ate in comfortable silence. We each showered then jumped into bed. I snuggled up to Ash and fell asleep.
