I'm guessing Bohdi just couldn't believe that Mewtwo and Mew were with us right now. His jaw was still agape. Close your mouth, you'll catch Cutieflys if you keep your annoying blackhole open any longer, Mewtwo seemed to grumpily inform him.
" Wow!" Bohdi commented after being frozen for what felt like eons. " I can't believe this. You must be special or something." It felt like Bobdi was just constantly repeating himself. I'm not special. Sure I found Mewtwo and managed to get him to follow me without a Poke Ball, but that doesn't mean the legendary half Mew doesn't have a free will.
" I'm not that special." I said, trying to keep the embarrassment off of my face. You sure are right about that. It's the rare Pokemon that's special, not the trainer. Mewtwo remarked as he folded his arms, acting all serious. " Oh don't be silly you two. Everyone is special! Caroline, you are especially special! You're the chosen one!" Mew squealed. " No!" I shouted, making most of the Pokemon, and Bohdi freeze. A cry of alarm came from a bird Pokemon in the trees, and the rustle within the trees could be heard. " No? You deny that you indeed are the only one who can possibly find Red?!" Mew asked, surprising Bohdi some more.
I sighed as I put my hand up to my face. " No. I'm saying there's nothing too special about me. I'm just a person who found your Cherish Ball, and you expect me to take this burden upon my own shoulders? Yes. I will find Red. No. Anyone can do this and be special. Think of this as like a pay back for all the years I read Manga." I commented as I thought carefully what to say. " But," I began. " I won't be doing anything but find Red. That's the only thing I'm willing to be doing. Don't expect much more out of me. I don't want to be a part of this, yet somehow I am." I said.
I honestly sound like a jerk, but I don't want to be called 'the chosen one,' it sounds like something Ash is, and I am not looking for Ash, or battling like Ash. Plus, I don't think Ash exists in this world if Red is the one who is in this world.
" It's understandable." Bohdi replied. " But what if your destiny is bigger than just finding some Champion, huh? You will have to get involved. You're the chosen human from another world whether you want to admit it or not." Mew told me. " Seriously? Man, you are the coolest person I've ever met. Now I definitely have to come with you. It's a good thing I already am coming with you!" Bohdi exclaimed.
I giggled as a response. " I guess you're right, Mew. It doesn't mean I like this situation I am in." I commented. It's true. As much as I like being in this world I don't like being forced into this situation. I like Red, but he should have been strong enough to defeat whatever it was that he was facing.
It was sure unknown. I wasn't given much of a situation of what was going on before Red went missing. " So. Now that we've been here for like forever, should we go?" I wondered. Instantly Mewtwo answered. Oh my Arceus! I thought we would never get a move on with how slow we are! His response made Mew and I giggle.
" You're so funny, Mewtwo." I commented as I ensured that all the Pokemon I had were out. Cubone, Eevee...yeah that's pretty much the only two Pokemon I have, and I still need a Poke Ball for Cubone. I hope for his safety that we find the next city as fast as possible because if he faints then...I don't like thinking about it. I can't think about it. Cubone has to not faint.
We started to walk through the tall grass. I ensured that Eevee had every chance he could get to battle with the wild Pokemon. I would have caught one of the Pokemon, but then again I am constantly in reminder to myself that I don't have anything to catch the wild Pokemon around these parts with. I seriously hope that the Pokemon around here have a healer because I regret having to battle them until their eyes swirl in a faint.
The tall grass continuously tickled my legs as I continued to run in the grass, trying so desperately to get back to Viridian City. I had enough money to buy poke balls now. I could buy at least two with the money I had earned from Bohdi.
I had gone through the entire forest without seeing a single Pikachu. I was disappointed, but I could understand that the Pikachu around here might not want to come out. Especially since it's practically night already. Time seems to go by faster when you're trying to explain things to your new pal. If he's even a new pal.
" So, Bohdi. Is that Qwilfish the only Pokemon that you have at the moment?" I asked, trying to clear up the awkward air that was between the two of us. Neither of us had said anything to each other since leaving to go through all the tall grass. " Unfortunately, yes. I want to become a better trainer, but as you can see I am still a pretty new trainer. Are you a new trainer as well? You only seem to have two Pokemon not including that Mew and Mewtwo." The male questioned me with a tip of his head.
Now that I think about it, I never got to explain what the kid looked like. Well he has brown hair and has brown eyes. And his skin tone, not trying to be racist, was tanish. I responded to the brown eyed male with a swift nod. " I'm still pretty new. I mean I just received Eevee and Mew not too long ago. I've already accomplished a lot within the short amount of time that I've been a trainer." I explained to the young teen. He nods with a smile that seemed genuine on his face.
" It sure seems like it. It just proves that you are indeed more important than you seem to let on." Bohdi commented as he gazed at me with such curiosity. " Eh. Important. Not important. I don't see the difference." I commented. I'm not just being humble. I don't really think I deserve the honor of being followed around by such a powerful Pokemon, and have the capability of all Pokemon DNA in my hands. It's just such power, and some people would kill to get their hands on it.
I'm just one of those people who thinks that using a powerful pokemon is pointless compared to the Pokemon that you like. Plus, strategy always beats power. You can't just have power alone. If the Pokemon loses it's accuracy it won't be able to use it's power to the fullest. Power depends on the user and their skills in the field, not just about how much attack or special attack one Pokemon can withheld.
Mewtwo can be beaten. It just is one of the strongest known Pokemon. It's hard to determine weakness, but a sure fire plan can make a weak Pokemon lead the stronger Pokemon. Doesn't sound possible, but it is.
Not much was said before we found our way out of that forest. Mewtwo instantly realized it needed to hide, and disappeared with a whooshing sound. I held out Mew's Poke Ball. Just in case I see any of those pesky Team Rocket grunts putting their noses where they don't belong, and taking Pokemon that aren't theirs to take.
I put Eevee in his ball. I waltzed into the store, nerves starting up. I was never good with people. " Hello, miss!" The market worker exclaimed with a chirp. If this person hated their job you would never be able to tell if they did cause they were that convincing. " Hello. I would like to buy some Poke Balls." I said. Cubone placed his paws on my leg.
" Aw. What a cute Cubone. Is he yours?" The worker asked. I nodded as I informed her of how many Poke Balls I needed. It turns out that I could end up with five Poke Balls with all the money put together. I placed the money on the table, and the person handed me the Poke Balls.
