It's been several hours. I can't believe I've been walking for seven hours or more. Cubone seemed to drag his body behind us in sadness. Mewtwo cleared his throat. You know, Blue is right. Aside from me and maybe that little pipsqueak Mew, you don't really have any Pokémon who can help scale Mt. Silver without failing.
Eevee adjusted his body to where he could climb on my shoulder. I no longer carried him, as he clung to my right shoulder with a smile on his face. " Maybe you're right Mewtwo." I remarked in a quiet whisper.
It was true. I only had three Pokémon including Mew and four if you count the not caught Mewtwo who decided to join us in this quest. The fact that Cubone and Eevee are still in their primary forms is also why Mewtwo is probably correct.
Mew giggles. " Mewtwo brother right? I think we should be able to take care of the soaring rockets, and find Red. We are a pretty good team!" Mew floated around Mewtwo. Mewtwo folded his arms in annoyance.
" Either way, I think trying to find Red on Mt. Silver is the best bet at finding him we got. Unless he's in Alola or something." I tried to distract. Maybe we didn't need more Pokémon, but I doubt that that even would halt me from attempting to find one. I swear if I start shiny hunting...
Anyways it would be nice to at least find a starter or even a Riolu. Which brought the question: do Riolu even inhabit this region? I would suppose it wouldn't be impossible, but if they're here, then where would one be?
You know what I believe you need to do? Mewtwo questioned. I think I have an idea or two on what Mewtwo thinks I should do: train or fight him to make sure I am ready or perhaps even both.
I tipped my head at him anyways, anticipating his response. His arms were continuously folded. Was he trying to be dramatic? I seriously have no idea. I think you should train and find more Pokémon to add to your team. The more the better, and the faster I can get away from that pink idiot.
I knew what the pink idiot was. Mewtwo never hid hate from Mew. It was natural. I also think the half Mew hated me. I kinda want to know why they were following me in the first place. It's a mystery.
I think I have several guesses: he's tired of being in that cave, he seriously knew I was coming here and that's why, or he senses a danger unlike any other. I am the Storm, as the Murkrow forebode. But why would I turn on them? It just doesn't make any sense...unless I have a shadow form like Lugia; even that doesn't make any sense to me.
" I will. But first I need a Poke ball for my dear Cubone buddy," I remarked, picking up the sad Pokémon. He was still pretty sad about his mother. I wonder if that will keep him from evolving; I don't mind him not...I just hate seeing the little ground type so sad.
I slowly petted the boned Pokémon. " You have enough Pokecoins?" Eevee wonders as I start to count them out. We were in a forest: the Pikachu forest, Viridian Forest. We were close to the exit. I would think that it wouldn't be this hard to trek through this forest.
I don't even really think that we were that far into the forest to begin with. Ahead there was clearly a person there. Maybe they're there for a battle. Or are they the headbutt move tutor? Either way there's sign of life.
" Is it safe for you to be out still? There's a-" I began before Mewtwo shot me a glare. I'll decide when it isn't safe. He practically snapped. I turned to the dancing Mew who rested on my head since deciding to sit on it a few seconds ago.
" You ready to go back into the ball?" I questioned the little floating cat. That statement excited the cat. " I'm down for a nap!" Mew squealed as they pressed their nose against the button on the Cherish Ball.
The little pink creature was sucked into the ball, being absorbed by the red light. Mew disappeared and was returned into the ball; hopefully the little Pokémon will get some rest after being out I hope.
Eevee stretches his jaws out in a yawn. " I could use a nap too. Or fifty," he purrs as he regains his grip on my shoulder. He had been slipping a little down the shoulder and near my back instead. I chuckled as I stroked his head with a hand. I kept my other hand on my poor little orphaned friend.
" Might want to keep awake, though. I might have to battle someone or something." I informed the fox and cat-like creature. Eevee perked up at that. " Of course! That still doesn't mean i am not tired. I would really like to sleep soon. It must be nighttime already." He responded.
It did feel like it was nighttime. I wonder if some Pokémon that only come out at night are here, or if I'm just thinking of Sun and Moon with all the Ratata and Yungoos. Either way, I at least am pretty beat. Plus we've been out who knows how long. It might have been days. I haven't exactly been keeping track of how long we've been here; it just feels like we've been here for hours.
Within minutes we approached the person that we all saw. Mewtwo had disappeared in order to keep his secret. I didn't have a Pokémon belt, so I pocketed to the best of my ability Mew.
I figured if I didn't lock eyes with the person we couldn't be launched into a battle, or even better if we were it wouldn't even be a battle. I gotta be honest: I can only use Eevee. Cubone isn't even in a Poke Ball yet, so that means he's in danger of actually dying when in battle. Well, that's what I believe anyways. It can be possible not to die as long as the pokemon gets to a Pokemon Center in time.
With each step I looked away from the person more and more. No risks. Even if I won and the person gave me a cash reward. Those rocket grunts only gave me enough to only buy one ball...that's all I need for Cubone. I mean I would have leftover coins, but I wouldn't be able to really buy anything; there's no way I am wasting this hard earned money on any casino they have in Sinnoh or anywhere.
At this rate this mission might bring me there or to even those regions in Pokémon ranger. It honestly sounds more grueling than the adventure I thought I was going to be in.
I tried to sneak past the person. It was impossible. I think every person has Spider-senses or something because I'm always caught by the person who wants to battle or talk to me. Well can't you tell? I don't want to talk to you. It stops me from finding Red, even if the trainer is dead I want to see for myself. Blue can...he can just fuck off with all his talk.
The person approached me. I almost groaned. I had to forcefully keep it back. If it's Hau I swear I'm gonna easily beat him. If it's Cynthia...no wait the persons a guy, so scratch that and replace her with Lance, then I'm fucked. Either way I don't like being halted on this dangerous, yet helpful journey.
If Red isn't at Mt. Silver I will cry. So I will probably most definitely be crying. " Hey!" The trainer or male shouted at me. Well, it wasn't a shout it was more of an excited squeak that didn't sound like what society views most males as.
I almost groaned as he got closer. I almost felt like running, but that would be rude. " Hmm?" I questioned the kid. I wasn't really planning on getting a pretty good look at him because I'm in a rush to find a champion who might be dead by now.
The kid put a hand on my shoulder. Does this kid seriously know nothing about others? I don't think it's a good idea to touch people. " I-I would l-like to battle you. P-please." The kid informed me before adding, " My name is Bodhi." Well at least this kid is polite.
