*Andy's POV

I know I'm mad at rye but seeing him all mad and upset was hurting me. I walked over to rye and grabbed his hand before leaning over to his ear and whispering to him.

Andy: "follow me please."

Rye looked up at me then hesitantly stood up and walked out of the door. I led rye down the hallway a little ways until we got to a staircase and I sat down. I turned and looked at rye then parted to the spot on the stairs next to me asking rye to sit by me without saying anything. Rye sat down then looked  down the stairs. I looked at ryes face and could tell he was thinking.

Andy: "rye?"
Rye: "hmm?"
Andy: "what are you thinking about?"
Rye: "you, me, my feelings, just a lot."
Andy: "what about those things?"
Rye: "I'm just thinking about when you told me you loved me and I said I didn't like you and how quickly things can change."

What does he mean by how quick things change? And why would he be thinking about those things?

Rye: "Andy?"
Andy: "yeah rye?"
Rye: "what are you thinking about?"
Andy: " us, I guess."
Rye: "what do you mean , 'I guess'?"
Andy: " honestly I don't know. I'm just confused."
Rye: "me too."
Andy: "what are you confused about?"
Rye: "it's silly honestly."
Andy: "no, rye if it's bothering you it must be important."

Rye sighed and I looked at him sad. I placed my hand on ryes knee and he put his on mine. I squeezed his hand and a slight smile came to his face.

Rye: "what are we fovvs?"

I opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out. Honestly I had the same question but had thought rye would be able to answer it for me. After a lot of thinking I finally found the only true answer.

Andy: "were best friends. That's all we are. I may have a crush on you but you don't feel the same so why should it matter?"
Rye: "who said I didn't like you now?"

Sorry this took forever. School started and I've just had so much going on recently. I'll try to post a couple more chapters on this storytoday and tomorrow. But thanks for everyone that went and checked out Disappear. I've had some doubt in that story and seeing all the votes and stuff and reads I'm getting are making me feel better hehe. Expect more updates soon!!
