Jeongguk woke up from his slumber and the smell of chlorine hit him. Groaned a bit he tried to sit up holding his stomach from the sting pain. He got up with a great effort to fight the pain before laid back to the headboard.

Looking around and he didn't sure for how long he stayed there, he growled frustratedly. He turned his head as he the door slowly opened and revealed Namjoon behind it.

"Oh, you wake up Prince."

Jeongguk ignored the man and looking for something. He was thirsty.

"Do you need some water?" Namjoon quickly went to the night stand and pour the water into the glass, handed it to Jeongguk. Jeongguk glanced slightly mad but still took the glass - roughly chugged it down his throat. He handed the glass back, eyeing each his guard's move with hard stare. Namjoon calmly put the glass on the night stand and quietly sit down on the chair next to bed. He looked at the prince on the eye.

"Yes, Your Highness. Your question?"

Jeongguk snorted. "Tell me everything."

As per se, Namjoon did tell him everything he needed to know except one thing - the unsocalled death waiting for the prince. Namjoon didn't have the heart to tell the prince thinking that the young man will not believe him but he surely knew the prince needed to be told the truth sooner or later. The truth that causing him to accept his terrible fate.

Feeling sense of tingling  woken up the sleeping Yaejin as she shot her eyes wide and quickly got up from her sleep. Fear shot through her as she looked at her left and right knowing her father was not with her in the small tent. She wanted to mind link her father when she heard faint noise outside the tent.

She perked her ears closely to the tent and was surprised when she heard her father talking to a certain someone. Who was it?

She tried to peek from slightly opened space, confirming there was someone with her father. All she could see was his back and he was sitting by the fireplace that was setup last night and her father was sitting across him but on his side, he could see the tent was on his direct sight.

Yaejin sighed and slowly closed her eyes. She was scared of course. Some stranger was with her father and how did he get here, she didn't have any clues of it. Not to mention, she wasn't good being around strangers. Plus, if the stranger is someone opposite her gender, would make her in her full cautious. She did have bad experiences with male except her father, so certainly this man will make her felt uncomfortable.

But she didn't have any choice, she need to get out somehow. She cannot stay forever in this tent. They have much more important things to worry about. Slowly, she opened her eyes, taking a deep breath and got up. She tried not to make any sound and walked out slowly.

Her father was so into the conversation with the stranger, he didn't realize Yaejin was there. She let out a small cough and both men turned towards her. The stranger looked at Yaejin face in awe before letting out fake cough and slowly got up.

"I'm sorry my lady for my sudden intrusion. I didn't mean any harm to both of you." His voice was so manly but soothe to her ears. His features suited his voice. His broad shoulders, handsomely structured face and his smile was some kind of...angelic? It goes well with his face.

Yaejin changed her gaze to his appearance. His outfit certainly matched to a prince-like. Quite bold but still an acceptable outfit. Showing where his coming from. Certainly from a noble family. But why he's here?

The stranger noticed the stare and let out a small smirk. He then faked a cough fisting his hand to his mouth. "I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself. My name is Kim Seokjin, son of Kim Yoosung and Jung Jaehee the alpha noble of Crescent pack."

Yaejin turned her gaze to her father and they looked at each other for a while, mind linked themselves before she looked back at the man in front of her. Seokjin saw this and somehow he was fascinated at the scene.

"Nice to meet you Kim Seokjin ssi."

"You can actually mind link?" He asked suddenly. Yaejin furrowed her brows a bit before she could understand the man's meaning.

"Yes. I was able to mind link but limited to my own blood line. You seem fascinated with it."

His eyes shone brightly. "Yes. I actually learned about your pack but I have a lot to learn I guess. To know that your special abilities and magic are quite an interesting topic. I tried to learn and understand and of course I make a record of it by myself for my own research but to able to meet the descendant of Silver Moon by myself, it was beyond my imagination yet I am so excited. And...and it is such an amazing finding knowing that human born can mind link like us werewolves. Yet, I want - "

"Ehem, yes Kim Seokjin ssi. I know you are excited but my daughter seems intimidated by your fascinating words." Park Kireum said calming the man down.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I'm just too excited to see Lady Yaejin that I didn't realize I made you uncomfortable. I'm so sorry my lady."

Yaejin shook her head smiling. "It's okay Kim Seokjin ssi. By the way, why are you here?"

"Ah, forgive me. I should explain my reason. Well, we were informed that my lady was in a mission of something. Since you both in our territory, my parents would like to invite you two to our place. Ah, don't worry. We just want to offer help nothing more. You need a lot of assistance if you want to continue your journey, my lady."

So, the news spreading now. Yaejin was thinking that her life could be more dangerous then it was supposed to. She should be more cautious but when something like this happened, what will she do? She felt tensed right now.

*Dear, we can take their offer for now. We need to know things occurred around us so that we can prepare more. After all, they are good guys. I think the alpha nobles of other territories be alerted as well about you. It will be easier if we can get their permission to enter their territory next time.* Her father suggested in their mind link. She thought for a while before making her decision.

*Well, it's not hurt to try isn't it? But we still need to be careful dad. We can't risk anymore. We also don't know who our enemies are. It can be quite tricky. We can ask about mom if they know something about her.*

*Yes, you're right. So, shall we?*

"Don't worry, my lady. Our place is not quite far from here. By the way, I have my warriors with me. Rest assured about your safety."

Yaejin nodded and looked at her father. Her father nodded too permitted them to move.

"Show me the way then, young man."

Seokjin smiled. "Yes, my lady."

Shortly after that, Yaejin could saw certain movement from the nearby bushes around her. She turned to Seokjin but he just nodded assured her. "That's my warriors."

Yaejin nodded again and took a glance before packing her things and started to follow the man.

"She's making a move." Someone from a far watching the scene in hiding.
