Second Mate

Everyone had their eyes on Jeongguk once in a while when they heard Yaejin mentioning his mate. They except Suri were kind of worried to wait Jeongguk responds on it. On the other hand, Jeongguk himself was feeling a bit mad.

Strangely, he was not mad at Yaejin particularly but at the time when she mentioned his former mate.

Jeongguk couldn't stand anymore when he heard it again.

"Just stop." The room fell to silence.

Yaejin looked at him curious. Feeling a small fear, she continued "I'm sorry if I offended you by mentioning your mate involve in this matter but-."

"No, that's not it."

 Yaejin suddenly felt confused.

"I- I just don't want to hear you say she's my mate cause she aren't anymore. Just stop calling her 'my mate'. Use her name."

Speechless. Everyone were speechless with Jeongguk's words.

Yaejin was flustered. "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you but you were okay before-"

"That was before..." Jeongguk cut her words. "...I don't like it anymore. Just call her by her name, please." He said. Yaejin nodded understood. But, she couldn't continue as she was too flustered. Jeongguk saw this so he tried to help her to continue spoke.

"You mention that Ye-Yeoni maybe involve with those group. How sure are you?"

For a few seconds, Yaejin set her eyes on Jeongguk before she looked down a bit thinking of something. 

"I cannot say for sure but from what I have heard and I experienced so far, she maybe involved. There is a reason why I have been chased till now."

All of them were getting curious. "Why is it Lady Yaejin? Why does it relate to Lady Yeoni?" Yoongi asked getting impatient.

"If you remember Yoongi ssi, I once said about the magnificent power that was hidden in Crystal Moon Pack and how this evil creature really wants to hold this power for its use."

Yoongi nodded.

"And I have told you that for those who wants to get the power they need someone from the pack to open up the door of the secret place and get it for them."

"Oh, I see. Correct me if I'm wrong Lady Yaejin, but only those from Crystal Pack can open the door and get the power right? It looks like you or Lady Yeoni are the key to that power aren't you?" Namjoon explained.

"You are correct Namjoon ssi but it's not only us. Anyone from the pack can be the key but since there's no one left except both of us and my mother so our lives in danger generally. From those who want to seek the power and those who want to kill us so the power will buried forever."

Hana and Suri gasped meanwhile everyone else fell in silence.

"There are also people who want to kill you Yaejin?" Hana asked in disbelief.

Yaejin nodded. "Yes." Jeongguk couldn't help but keep feeling curious about something. "But what does it relate to Yeoni and those group?"

Yaejin looked at him and she wondered why her stomach felt slightly tight. To be honest, she felt a bit happy when Jeongguk didn't want her to call Yeoni his mate but seeing Jeongguk still cared about Yeoni, she knew Jeongguk might still had feeling for Yeoni. She turned to look at everyone else.

"Does the group has it name?" Jimin asked suddenly. 

Yaejin turned to Jimin. "I might heard the name but I don't know if its correct or not."

"The Black Orb?" Yaejin nodded fast. "Yes, that's the name."

"It was true then." Jimin mumbled slowly. Yoongi saw this. "What is it Jimin?"

The attention was then changed to Jimin. Jimin didn't say anything at first but kept thinking of something but then he started to speak.

"Actually, I've heard Lady Yeoni said that before as if she was talking to somebody but when I reached there, I only saw her and she kind of have a surprised look when she saw me. I asked her what she was doing there and she told me nothing but I could see she was lying. She left before I could ask more."

"Where was she at that time?" Yoongi asked.

"You may don't believe this but I saw her at the prison."

"The one in the building or outside?"

"Why she was there?"

Both Yoongi and Jeongguk asked at the same time. They looked at each other before setting their eyes on Jimin. Everyone else were confused however Jimin slightly chuckled at the situation.

"Which one do I have to answer first?" Yoongi wanted to speak but Jeongguk said first.

"Just answer Yoongi first. Mine is not important."

"Really, Prince Jeongguk?" Jimin teased him leaving Jeongguk growled slightly mad. 

"Just continue Jimin. I said mine is not important." He said it remembered Yaejin was there. He didn't want Yaejin to misunderstand him. He just wanted to know but then realized his question might took Yaejin to feel that he still cared for Yeoni but he was not. 

He really just wanted to know.
