Never Yaejin felt more stressed in any situation than the one she had right now. Its getting more tensed when everyone kept silent. No one dared to challenge the tension flowing in the air now.

"Well..." Finally someone spoke but why it's getting more and more tensed.

Because the person who started the conversation was none other than that created this awkward situation.

Prince Jeon Jeongguk.

He never let his eyes wondering off from Yaejin. His intense stare really made Yaejin sweating inside and she mentally cursed herself that she couldn't stop shuddering. Why he acted that way? Did she do something wrong? She couldn't figure it out.

Jimin faked his cough. "I'm sorry. I need to speak to Yoongi hyung about something. It's very important. May I excuse myself? Yoongi hyung, please come with me." Yoongi nodded and got up. He thanked Jimin in silence for helping him out from this awkward situation. Jimin curved up his lips a bit but he made sure no one saw it.

"I have my work to do. So, I excuse myself." Taehyung got up and quickly he disappeared.

"I need to see my boys practice. We need to prepare for any unexpected attacks." It's Hoseok turned to say his excuse. Yaejin's eyes getting wider and wider by this sudden people disappearing one by one. 

"Actually I want to search something in the library. I need to find some information." Seokjin spoke quickly followed by Namjoon as he said he wanted to search for something too. 

What was going on with these people? No way they were going to let her alone with this bratty prince. She needed to find her excuse to-

"Don't you dare give an excuse to avoid me." Jeongguk sternly said.

Yaejin let out defeated sigh. Why did she had to face this now? Again she sighed.

Jeongguk saw this and somehow he found it so cute. Must be out of his imagination right now to think that she's cute. He quickly reminded that his wolf saying that not him. But, it won't hurt to admit it right? After all, she is his mate. What's wrong with that?

'It's wrong. You should't like her. You can't like her. Yeoni was your mate.'

*Dude. Yaejin is your mate. So, it's not wrong*

*Shut up you wolf* 

JK snorted. *Yeah, right. You are the one who wanted to come here and you blamed me for saying she's cute. Funny*

*Damn you*

Jeongguk could hear his wolf was laughing at him. Oh moon, he hated his wolf.

"What are you doing here?" Jeongguk heard Yaejin asked him. He went out of his trance and looked at her.

"I can't come here?"

Yaejin rolled her eyes. There he goes. Being a brat.

"You absolutely can, dear prince. However, you must have your own reason to even waste your time for coming here. May I know the reason, Prince Jeongguk?"

Damn the sarcasm. He suddenly felt excited with her being feisty. He wanted to smile but it was so hard to control it.

"I came to see you." But before Yaejin could felt at least happy, Jeongguk quickly added.

"Not exactly seeing you but I have something to ask." Jeongguk could see Yaejin's few seconds disappointed expression before changed to calm and he felt sudden guilt across his heart.

"Oh, okay. What is it?" Yaejin tried to keep her voice steady. She didn't want to look disappointed but she couldn't help feeling it. Not that she hoped Jeongguk changed his mind. She didn't even wanted to expect it but since she heard that Jeongguk came all the way here for her, at least she could dream about it a bit. Right?

Bu she forgotten herself, Jeongguk must had another reason for seeing her. She wanted to laugh at herself for dreaming such a hope.

Jeongguk rubbed his neck unconsciously. He didn't have the reason actually and now he had to think something to ask. Took a bit time to think, then suddenly something struck his mind.

However, before he could ask, sudden pain came reaching him as he held his chest with his fist. Yaejin was confused at first by his unexpected action but reality beat her when she realized that Jeongguk was in pain. She quickly rushed to him - afraid to touch him asking him if he was okay.

Jeongguk couldn't stand the pain as he kept holding his chest. It was so painful that he felt his eyes teared up. Yaejin didn't know what to do but seeing Jeongguk almost fell from the chair, she held both of his arms fast and kept him steadying on his chair.

Sudden electrifying came across Jeongguk's body when Yaejin touched him. Instantly, he felt less pain but still it's hurt. Those electrifying feeling kept coming causing headache so much that he couldn't stand anymore.

He tried to grab Yaejin hands but the last thing he remembered before he closed his eyes he heard Yaejin screamed his name.

"Jeongguk!"
