I smiled and blushed as I finally noticed the 'poplar' girls were looking at me like I killed someone. The bell rang as I started out of class.
"BYE MACK!" Alex screamed.
"goodbye Alex." I laughed
my next class was English...my favorite,really I love reading if you haven't noticed. I quickly found the English room and took a set in the back. English flew by I sat in the back and read. my next hour lunch,I had spend this time last year in the library avoiding everyone and I was plaining on doing that agin this year. I walked to my Locker and tried to open it,this time having some trouble trying.
"need some help kenz?" Alex laughed
"more nicknames for me I guess." I laughed.
"well you were the only thing I could think about during my last hour."
"dude come on." a boy said.
"I'm coming." Alex answer.
I started walking to lunch,as a girl who had been looking at Alex and I during history stopped me.
"hi I'm Leah!" she smiled.
"mackenzie." I answer as I keep walking
"aren't you Madison ziegler little sister."
there it was Maddie's little sister,all I am ever known for.
"yeah." I answer annoyance in my voice.
we reached the lunch room and I started walking for the library.
"where are you going." Leah asked.
"the library to read."
"no! some sit with my friends and I."
"well-"
"please."
"ok I guess."
I followed her to a group of girls all wearing short shorts and tanks.
"hey." they said together as if they were robots.
"hi..."
"guys this is Kenzie." Leah smiled.
"wait your the girl that Alex was flirting with weren't you!" a girl who must of been the poplar of them all said.
"he wasn't flirting-"
"he so was." she laughed.
"do you like him?!" another asked.
"we just met I mean-" I started
"she so likes him."
"come sit."
I said down next to the girl who told me I had been flirting with Alex.
"I'm Ella by the way"
"hey don't you dance at aldc?" one of the girls asked
"yeah sense I was like one!"
"nice so do I!" a girl I soon learned name was Jenna.
"you should come to our party on Friday!" Ella smiled.
"yeah!"
lunch went by quick for the first time In a really long time. I had friends.
"ugh kenz what class do you have?" Ella asked me.
"um ew math."
"same!"
"same." gabby another one of the poplar girls laughed.
use three walked to math as Jenna and Leah when to English.
we walked to the back and for once I talked to people.
"hey look there's Alex,carter,and Ty!" Ella smiled and waved.
I watched quickly as Ella moved and made Alex sit next to me.
I blushed like crazy.
"hey kenz." Alex smiled.
"hi."
"AWWWW YOU TWO ARE SO CUTE!!" Ella squealed.
"Ella!" Alex pushed her.
math when by quick because all we did was talk
the next hours when by like a blur.
finally school was done. I grabbed my backpack and took my phone out.

I had 9 new friends
one new year.
"hi baby!" mom smiled as I got into the car.
"hey."
"so how was school."
"fine."
"make any new friends."
"yep."
mom stopped the car
"really kenz?!"

I guess mom knew that really I didn't have Many friends or even one friend.
"well thats great."
"can I hang out with them on Friday?"
mom once agin in shock,first I made friends and second I'm going to do something in my free time other than dance.
"of-of course!"
"mom calm down!"
"sorry Kenzie!"
I got out of the car and threw on my dance clothes i had ten minutes till I had to leave.
I quickly checked my phone.
I had a text from Alex which read
