I finished getting ready for dance and ran down stairs to were mom was waiting.
"come on we're gonna be late."
"ok I'm ready."
I got in the car,I finally had time to text Alex back sense the ride to abby lee dance company was 15 minutes. I read the text agin;
'hey Kenzie kenz'
I keep thinking about what to text back,I didn't wanna seem weird...if you haven't noticed I don't text people to much. i finally answered:really again with the nicknames? it wasn't even a minute later he responded:of course kenz. I laughed and said,but whyyy? he answered quick,because their cute like you. I felt myself blush uncontrollable.
"mackenzie you alright?" mom asked
"yeah fine."
"what's wrong?" she said now laughing.
"oh nothing."
"really,I haven't seen you this happy in well forever."
"mom you always yell at me I'm depressed and now I'm happy and your sad about that?"
"mackenzie you know what I mean."
"whatever."
finally we were at dance so no more odd conversations with mom.
"KENZIEE!" Jenna yelled and ran up to me.
"hey!" I laughed and answered.
then I saw them carter and Alex why were they there.
"carter and Alex?" she asked as if she could read my mind
"yeah why?"
" carter is my twin brother." she rolled her eyes.
"really?" I asked.
"sadly." she laughed.
"ten minutes till class starts we should go."
"girls you should of been here ten minutes ago!" miss abby yelled.
"sorry miss abby!" Jenna and I said hoping to not make abby anymore mad than she already was.
we quickly ran into the dancers den were they others were finishing stretching.
"I can't wait till Friday!" Jenna giggled
"what's Friday?" I asked confused
"Ella party duh!,and she said that we may fly out to New York for the weekend?"
"really?!"
"oh I forgot to mention,Ella's rich and I mean RICH."
our conversation was interrupted by abby screaming for everyone to come in. we all hurried in hoping not to make abby upset because when abby was upset everyone was.
"welcome welcome!" she smiled
mumbles of hi filled the dance room.
"well let's get right to comp this coming up in three weeks"
KENZIE YOU HAVE A DUET."
oh god what did abby have planed.
"I'm sure kenz by now you know,we start every year with a girl boy duet,and now your turn."
"your duet is called xo and it will be performed with Parker."abby said
Jenna screamed. I looked over at the mom and siblings,Alex looked really pissed off. does he like me?
"OUR FIRST SOLO IS JENNA!,your solo is called America dream!"
"OUR SECOND SOLO IS ASIA!,your solo is called don't talk to me."
"and our group dance is...pretty little lairs."
everyone broke out in squeals.
"let's start with Asia."
everyone left the dance room as Asia music started.
'stop don't talk to me loser lamo wanna be'
dance went super quick before I knew it was almost over."
"mackenzie!" mom called
"yeah?"
"I need to leave right now your going home with Jenna."
"okay bye."
soon dance was over and me and Jenna grabbed out stuff.
I threw on my aldc coat and ran out to the car with Jenna.
"gosh looks like it's gonna storm!" Jenna's mom said
the boys quickly got into the car Alex sat next to me. we got onto the highway as the rain came. slowly than all at once.
"I can't drive in this." she mumbled.
she turned on the radio taken back by what she heard.
"PLEASE EVERYONE OFF THE ROADS."
she turned off the first exit and turned Into a parking lot. we got out and ran inside what turned out to thankfully be a hotel.
tonight was gonna be a longggg night.
