Amara Winters' POV
I couldn't believe that Harry just asked that. Would I go on a date with him? I mean sure, the guy was amazingly kind, funny and sweet, but I'd never thought of us like that. I felt so flattered, but also was speechless. Did I really like Harry like that? Maybe I did, I felt so comfortable around him and he always made me blush. But we were coworkers, if it didn't work out we'd still have to put up with each other and that's something I wouldn't be able to do. To see his gorgeous face every day and act like nothing had happened between us. I really didn't know what to do."W-would you like to uh... you know, hang out some time... it's cool if you don't want to of course. But like maybe... go on a date with me?" Harry's voice was soft and sounded vulnerable. It was very strange for me to see him this shy. I'd seen his vulnerable side before when he told me about Niall, but this was a whole other situation. He was blushing and biting his lip as he worriedly glanced around at everything that was in his peripheral vision, yet he didn't look at what was in his central vision; me.
"So that's a no... I'm sorry I even brought it up haha, I'll see you... Monday." Harry stuttered and he quickly turned around, walking away with a slouched posture. I was quick to grab his wrist and pull him back, making him look down at me in confusion.
"I-I'd love to... go on a date with you... As long as if it doesn't work out, there won't be any tension between us." I said and Harry's face lit up.
"No, of course not! Thank you for giving me a chance and-" he quickly cut his rambling off and blushed, scratching his neck as he innocently glanced at me. I laughed and pulled him into a hug.
"You can pick me up tomorrow at six, you know where my apartment is, right?" I asked and Harry nodded.
"I'll text you the apartment number again in case you forgot-"
"Second floor, number 36 right?" Harry asked and I raised my eyebrows, making him blush and look away again.
"I just have a great memory." He defensively said and I laughed.
"Sure Styles, sure. But yeah, that's my flat... I'll see you tomorrow." Before I knew it, I kissed him on the cheek. I pulled away, blushing and looking at a stuttering Harry. His face went completely red and he looked absolutely adorable.
"S-see you tomorrow." He stuttered and I smiled before getting in my car. I sent him a little wave and he waved back, then I sped off.
I got myself a date.
