Amara Winters' POV
Harry and I had left the hospital a few days after he'd woken up. He was still ordered to rest, but at least he was allowed to go home. He wasn't going to work for a while since he just simply couldn't. So I was gonna stay with him and take care of him. Anne and Gemma wanted to do it, but I insisted. I'd doubted my feelings when he asked me out, but when Jane had cut him in the process of falling down... I just knew that I needed him, that I loved him. I'd never been so afraid in my life. I didn't want to lose him, I couldn't, not after everything that we'd been through together.

"Mr. Styles, Miss Winters, could you tell us a bit about the case?"

"Mr. Styles, how did you solve the case?"

"Miss Winters, what was it like in captivity of a serial killer?"

"Could you just give us a bit of information about how you found out that Jane Turner was the killer?"

"Pose for the paper!"

"What does it feel like to not only be a hero in Holmes Chapel but also to be known around the world?"

Harry leaned on his crutches as I helped him through the crowd of photographers and reporters. I was covering my eyes from the bright flashes of the cameras as a few of our colleagues helped us through the big crowd. The doors of a police car were opened for us and I helped Harry in, putting the crutches on both our laps as I sat down next to him. He gave me a cocky smile and I rolled my eyes as the vehicle started driving.

"They love me." He arrogantly said and I sighed before smiling at his adorable naivety.

"They love money and they get that from picturing the talk of the town."

"Yeah but we're not only the talk of the town, we're also known internationally." He smirked and I playfully smacked his chest.

"Ow."

"That wasn't even on one of your wounds."

"But it still hurt." He pouted and I smirked.

"Is that so? Well, what am I supposed to do about that then?" I asked in a tone as if I was speaking to a five-year-old and he thought for a second before grinning.

"Gimme kiss." He said in a high pitched voice, puckering his lips.

"Only because I love little kids," I said teasingly, leaning over to peck his lips. He put his hand in my neck and pulled me closer, as if begging me to never let go.

"Hey, no PDA in my car." We heard a deep voice say, we turned to the person who was driving the car and saw that it was the Chief. I smiled innocently and leaned back in my seat. The Chief smirked as he looked at us through the rearview mirror.

"Bet you like big boys as well." Harry leaned over to whisper in my ear.

"Harry!" I exclaimed, hitting his chest.

"I was just kidding." He laughed and silence filled the car as we pulled up to Harry's house.

"Amara?" Harry asked as I helped him out of the car and handed him his crutches.

"Be my girlfriend?" He blushed and my whole face lit up.

"Of course I will."
