Amara Winters' POV
I was panicking like hell, I was trying to get the ropes off, but they just wouldn't cooperate. My legs were almost untied, but Jane was also walking over to me, grinning as she cleaned a dirty spot on her knife with her shirt. I was absolutely terrified, my life couldn't end like this, not at the hands of a serial killer. She'd have all the freedom to fool everyone and give someone else the blame. She could lie and no one would be suspicious of her. And worst of all: she could have Harry, all to herself.

"Please, you don't have to do this, I won't tell anyone. Please, you have to let me go, don't kill me." I decided to do the only thing left to do, the only chance I had at survival: I started begging.

"That's what they all say, darling, I'd be stupid to fall for such a lie, of course, you would tell someone. You'd still be scared and you'd only feel safe when I'd be in jail. But guess what sweetie, you won't even live to see those days. In fact, those days will never come, I'll tell everyone that it was you, that you were the killer. And everyone will believe me, wishing for you to rot in hell." I suddenly felt the rope fall from my ankles to the ground. I cheered in my mind and started wriggling my wrists out of the rope, trying to do it as unnoticeable as possible.

"Where should I start?" Jane asked as she bent down to my level, "that pretty little neck of yours, your chest... your face perhaps?" She asked, tracing the body parts she just named, suddenly stopping when we heard loud pounding on a door, the knife still remaining on my cheek.

"POLICE, OPEN UP, YOU ARE SURROUNDED AND IF YOU TRY TO ESCAPE WE WILL OPEN FIRE!" Was yelled right after the pounding on the door. Jane's eyes went wide and she turned to me, glaring at me with the most wicked expression I'd ever seen on anyone's face.

"You!" She hissed, pointing her knife at me, her face red with rage.

"OPEN UP OR WE WILL HAVE THE RIGHT TO COME IN OURSELVES!"

"Don't even try anything, bitch." She spat before jumping up and rushing out of the room. I took that opportunity to successfully get my hands out of the ropes before getting up and silently leaving the room.

"Oh, hi officer, may I help you?" I heard Jane ask in a disgustingly sweet, yet seductive tone.

"We have a warrant for Jane Turner's arrest." I heard a familiar deep voice say and I felt my heart clench, yet my stomach filled with butterflies.

"Are you sure? Why would I get arrested? I haven't done anything." She said in a fake innocent voice.

"You're under the suspicion of kidnapping, murdering and another attempt to murder." A different voice spoke and I quietly walked into the hallway, staying out of sight, but still seeing the multiple officers facing me as Jane's back faced me.

"I haven't done any of those things, why would you think that?" I saw Jane grabbing her knife from her back pocket and my eyes widened. I tiptoed over to her and saw Harry's eyes widen as he saw me approaching the insane person in front of him. He had his hand near his weapon and the handcuffs, awaiting further instructions from his colleagues. I saw Jane hiding her knife in her hand before extending her arm, but I was quick to react. I ran over to her and tackled her to the floor, kicking the knife out of her hand. But much to my dismay it wasn't shiny silver anymore, it was covered in scarlet red liquid and I was quick to realize that Jane and I weren't the only ones who'd fallen down.

Harry fell too, his torso and leg bleeding heavily as he tried to cover the large wounds with his hands.
