We switched seats in Algebra again today. I was a little disappointed because I liked us switching seats everyday, and that meant I could talk to him at least once everyday.

My seat was only one seat away from him, so I guess that was a plus. But I also was on the opposite side of the room from Daphne.

Not only does the 8th grade take a trip to Washington D.C., but they also go to Cedar Point, which is a huge amusement park. The only thing is, you have to be eligible to go, meaning you can't get suspended more than 3 times.

One day we were sitting in Algebra, when he just randomly started talking to our teacher.

"Do you get to go to Cedar Point for free? Since your a teacher and all," He said.

"I wish we could go for free! I go every year with the 8th graders," she said. "It's too bad you can't go, since you got suspended."

"I didn't get suspended, I chose not to go," he replied.

"You didn't choose not to go, you got suspended like 5 times," I shot at him. The whole half of the room that heard me started dying, and yes I mean DYING laughing.

"I only got suspended 3 times actually," he said. His face got totally red.

"It's funny because you never would have thought that would come out of your mouth!" One of the popular girls in Algebra said. I was pretty proud of that comeback. Even the teacher was laughing.

"She would know, she must have hated sitting next to you all this time," the teacher said.

"Nah she loves me," he replied. I began to object, but I knew it was true.

At the end of the hour, he came up to me and was trying to convince me that 3 suspensions was not that big of a deal.

"It's only 3, it's not even that many," he said. He looked kind of sad.

"What even did you do!?" I asked him. At that moment the bell rang. I walked away as quick as I could. I kind of feel bad for saying that to him, in front of the whole class.
