Cedar Point was so much fun, even though he couldn't be there. Daphne couldn't go either since she had a big dance recital that night.
I was in a group with some of my other friends, including Ava and Sara. We rode so many different rides that day. I just wish he could have gone, maybe I could have sat next to him on a ride.
It was getting to be the end of the school year. Student council elections for next year were going to take place in a week. Daphne was going to run for President and I was running for Vice. We made posters and hung them around the school.
I didn't know the competition was going to be so intense, I mean it's just student council.
Daphne bought us some candy to pass out bribing everyone to vote for us. I handed it to most of the people in my first 3 classes.
At lunch Daphne dared me to give a chocolate to her crush and tell him to vote for her. So I did. I sat down next to him and handed him the candy, then whispered to vote for Daphne.
"I didn't think you were going to do it," she said.
"Your turn," I replied, pointing towards his table.
"No way, I'll get made fun of," Daphne said, looking towards his table. I guess he was sort of poplar.
"I'll do it," my friend, Sara, said. I handed her the candy and she walked towards his table. I see them talking and he makes a few hand motions. She turns around and starts laughing.
"He told me to tell you to shut the hell up," Sara said. For some reason I started cracking up. It hurt a little, but I could understand because one of his friends was also running for Vice President.
I wonder if that was an act to look cool or if he really meant it.
